AEG fires ONLY auto when loaded

So my AEG will fire semi or auto when unloaded, same when loaded with an empty mag, but when loaded with bb's it only fires auto. Thought it might have been the mag compressing things, but like I said it's only when I put bbs through it that it only fires auto

It's a lancer tactical with a specna arms gearbox with microswitch trigger, and specna arms 16:1 high speed gears. After dry firing without the barrel attached, I've realised it's only when a seal is created over the air nozzle (such as when it's firing bbs) that it only fires auto, without a seal it fires auto or semi, depending on what mode I'm in

In general, this would be a cut off lever problem
if the cut off lever is worn, or just not doing it's job, then it would cause the gun to have problems firing semi-auto

the lancer/specna combo is a bold choice
not sure why it would have high speed gears - these could be spinning too fast for the cut off to activate? {{or could the sector be shimmed too high to grab the cut off to trip it?}}
You mentioned the gun has a microswitch trigger - does that mean it also has a mosfet system? ---> does this have any active brake / precocking settings you can add/change?

perhaps the nozzle is too big? - is the nozzle from the specna gb, the same as what was in the lancer's? (down to the decimal mm?, so if it was 22.4mm, is the other also 22.4?)

If you have the confidence/experience to crack open the gearbox, then do so, as you'll need to manually cycle the sector gear to make sure it's tripping the cut off
may be some trial and error needed, or perhaps a new cut off needed (if applicable)

Not necessarily, some gearboxes now come with microswitches without any sort of electronics, which is a bad move because microswitches are way more fragile than regular switches.

A too long nozzle will prevent the gun from feeding, not firing in FA. And the opposite will lead to air leaks and power drops.

Anyway, @Picklerick90what do you mean by full auto? Multiple, distinct gearbox cycles or simply that it fires more than one BB at the time?

Is it possible to have a clear, detailed video of the issue?

which is a bad move because the cheap shit microswitches they put in airsoft guns are way more fragile than regular switches.
