    Differences between a GEN 2 & 3 G&G T4-18

    So... I'm now the owner of a Gen 3 G&G T4-18. First off I noticed that the G&G mags are fairly tight in the Mag well, nothing more than just a slight whack to properly seat it, releasing it just takes a small tug. Internally the Hop is definately different to the gen 2. It's a metal body with a silver barrel rather than the brass one of the Gen 2. I've had a good play with it and the only issue I'm having is that a 120r G&G mag will "Derp" the first 30 or so shots meaning that you only want to put in 85-90 BB's in.

     

    Seems to have a lot of problems is it worth buying I was thinking about getting the gen 2

    But if it was two toned it would be okay right?

    Because I think (this could be wrong) you have to be over 18 to buy ANY airsoft gun but unless it's black etc as long as it's two toned you can use it if your under 18.

    That applies to two tone to

    any person under the age of 18 can legally own an rif(black) gun just not buy it so your options are be gifted or manufactures gun ( need proof that you are a regular skirmisher)

    what is the difference between the t4-18 and the tr4-18. Are they both g&g ( not sure how to put it in red please change )

    I'm under 18 and personally I have ESS ICE glasses with a mesh lower mask. At my site this is fine but you may need to check with yours. Also at my site they allow under 18s to wear just glasses or goggles if their parent gives consent to the marshals on the day.

    Just gonna roll out and say there's no such thing as a M416, it's a HK416. M416 was invented by Dice for their Battlefield games because they couldn't get licensing from H&K to call it a HK416.

     

    Please stop.

    Don't think there is much difference between the first and second gun you've linked. First one is your typical M4 that everyone and their mothers have and the second one is a HK M416 which is a little bit more unique and seen less than your standard M4. I personally would go for the M416 as it just looks delightful.

    However you will hear people saying get the CM16 as it's a great starter weapon and you can upgrade it etc but it's down to you.

    So you recommend stretch my budget a bit and getting hk m416 ?

    yes i know, but who cares? I may well be manufacturing an RIF however when I skirmish I will put the stock and handguard on, and when I go home I will swap it for two tone.

    I'm in your situation and I'm ( my parents then gift it) going to buy a two tone then use fairy spray to remove it

    This is legal if you can prove you are a regular skirmishes eg pictures being 18 doesn't matter as that is only to do with buying and selling

    Buy small and get it tailored

    Look for Surplus stores in your area, I'm lucky enough to have one a 20 minute drive away, But Just google it - Then You can see what fits you, the quality etc before you buy :)

    Looking for a mtp/dpm loadout but hears my problem I'm not big enough to fit into small mens only xs and kids sizes but no where sells these

    Can anyone link to a few places where I can get these I know airsoft world do kids but reviews aren't good and they don't have a big selection

    N eBay I've seen xs ubacs but they look like they will get wet and if the bbs will either rip it ( correct me if wrong)

    How do I use fairy spray? Do I have to strip the gun of its parts ? Is it legal for an under 8 if I can provide a defence eg photos

    Is it easier for a parent to buy a second hand 1 from someone not asking for defence
