  1. Don't think the legislation on airsoft needs to change. It needs to be viewed in the correct light and what it's designed to do. In my opinion the ukara system is there to preserve the sport/hobby we all enjoy, in some countries rifs/airsoft are banned! That's not to say I don't think it has issues. Sadly, I fear like many things in this world it will be the idiots that destroy it for the rest of us and relaxing the laws will just make it easier for them. I have been around firearms for a number of years and be it shotguns, riffles or rifs they need controlling. I believe there could be a better system but I can't think of one......... (Remove soap box 😃)
  2. Ok not really airsoft based, but anyway! Just watched kajaki if you have not seen it take a look pretty amazing! Based on a true story about the paras out in afghanistan.. Brave lads. So out of all the war themed movies which ones do you guys and girls rate. ( gonna see how many I can make the wife sit through).
  3. Posted in the wrong forum...sorry don't know how to move it!
  4. Hey people, I'm still new to airsoft and still learning. One thing I have heard/read a lot about is people not calling their hits. I haven't been airsofting for long so have never experienced it! What's the view of the guys/girls who have been playing for a while? How common is it? And what do you think airsoft could do to stamp out cheating? Interested in your views!
  5. Meant wasn't a dedicated shop!
  6. Very true Baz as it was an airsoft dedicated shop. I didnt purchase anything from him as I'm waiting for my ukara number and got my eye on a Rif from land warrior. Just thought it was an interesting point. Cheers
  7. Interestingly I visited a shop recently and spoke with the owner. He said he would be willing to sell a Rif to a person with a shotgun/firearms license. He stated ukara is a defence to protect retailers as much a players. He said if a person has a firearms license they have been vetted to a much higher level the ukara and as such he had no issues.
  8. Ok I have decided to buy a two tone as a starter and replace it once I'm on the register ( ukara). Soooooo colours.... I know it should be bright but some are insane.... Anyone got/had a two tone that was not too bright!! I don't really want to walk on the field and be as subtle as a fart in a fish tank! Cheers
  9. Cheers for the reply bud
  10. Hey guys, I am new to the sport and still learning the ropes. I understand the need for a ukara database. My question is does it make any difference if you are a firearms license holder? I have had a firearms license for sometime and it seems odd I can't buy a replica of a real gun I already own!....... Well saying that, knowing the government not that strange! Cheers Guys
  11. Hey peeps, had my account for a while but due to the arrival of my children I was unable to get into the sport... I am based in sussex so if anyone can suggest a good site it would be appreciated! Also , I'm a shift worker and so being able to go to the same site 3 times could take a loooong time. I get the whole ukara defence thing. Do you guys think hire and play until I'm on the register ( ukara that is lol) or go two tone? Cheers guys!
  12. Hello, new to the sport airsoft. Looking to get into the sport and have a good time. Having spent sometime in the world of firearms I have massively impressed with the tactics and training involved in airsoft. Looking forward to playing a lot more. Got to be honest learning about the best makes of rifs out there is a bit daunting! Any advice would be great ... Prepare to standby.....standby!
