He said he made it in the defense of the motherland and was disappointed that it was used by terrorists. Even said he would have preferred to make something useful,like a lawnmower.
I don't think you can play the blame game like that, otherwise you would have to blame the Chinese for creating gunpowder. Or the invention of Cars or tobacco
