Anything upwards of 200 I'd say, I have a little pistol light that cost me £8 and it's fine for indoor use.

For woodland night games if you want something that'll light up everything within AEG range then a standard 400 or so ought to do fine.

My LLM can easily illuminate targets out to around 100m, which is more than adequate and that's quoted as being 400.

ya i though 2000 lumens was massive but when i use it its not that epic

My Nextorch WL10 is 230 lumens and is bright enough to strip paint at 100 yards. It's got just as much to do with the lens and the reflector as it has with the output power of the light source!
