That’s the way I see it, it’s just the people who buy without checking prices you feel sorry for, but I suppose it’s down to them in the end.

Keep seeing adverts on the forum for “Brand New Guns” often at full or even more than the retail price from dealers. A s/h gun can be as new, but it’s not brand new because the seller purchased it, it’s therefore s/h. Unless of course the seller is actually a dealer then it should come with warranty, able to be returned under distance selling rules etc. And I am not sure that dealers are even allowed to use the sales section on here.

I have had work done by BZ Tech, and it was extremely good. They informed me when they received my pistol, logged it in so it took its place in the queue and got it back to me after 7 days. Ian at Firesupport is also an excellent tech, but they are always very busy, turn around time 6 weeks on average.

Abbey Ultra, it has upl suspended in its mixture, great on the guns seals and doesn’t gum up like silicon oil.

I find the standard marui speed loader is much better than the one supplied. Keeping it angled and pressed down hard seems to work for me.

I seem to remember that some of the guns were very distinctive, do you have photos of them that you could produce if you find them up for sale. Even then you will probably need the police to attend as I can’t see them being handed back willingly, especially if the dealer paid for them him or herself. If violence erupts your just as likely to get arrested as the other party. I wish you luck getting your stuff back, but don’t let it lead to violence, walk away if things get nasty.

I have a Shinobi aap, fully upgraded internally with steel parts, works great. It depends on who does the work not the gun or parts.

Anyone had experience of Eagle Six Airsoft, are they o.k to deal with.

Got it from JD Airsoft, but contacted ares direct and they are very helpful. They have posted out a replacement grip. Friend of mine has problems with his, double action has broken after 3 capsules.

Keep a close eye on the grips, mine had a small part break off for no reason that I can think off. Not been banged or dropped, only fired one capsule so far.

Manual is online from ares website, and I didn’t get a hop key in either guns.

For sure they won’t price match if out of stock, I also have had them refuse to match as well.

They do have a physical store, but they were closed until today I believe. The website was offline until Saturday afternoon so the stock levels should have been accurate if they actually had 3 in stock.

That’s bloody annoying, as you said it showed 3 in stock. Lucky that both of you are patient people, I would be going to Defcon and asking HPA for a refund. I’am surprised though, I have purchased from HPA a few times and they have been very good.

HPA have sold out now, although I’am told Defcon still have them at £200. I still have I set of the GHK mounts if anyone wants to add a red dot to the Gen 5.

1 have one set of mounts left as well.
