  1. As I said a few posts back they tried that with air cartridge guns and most went underground. How many airsoft guns are owned in the U.K. I wonder, many millions I guess, and how many would be handed in for no compensation. When the VCRA bill first came in those people who already owned RIF’s kept them. They might stop people buying more guns, but trying to force people to give up legally purchased property ? Good luck with that.
  2. Imitation firearms would also have to include many airguns, blank firers etc, so some sought of license possibly, that would involve millions of guns, a ban, possibly, but they would have to pay compensation, that would be billions. Who would run the license system, the police ? They are struggling in many forces to do renewals and grants for FAC’s and SGC’s, some people waiting a year for renewals. The government did a ban/ or put it on licence with air cartridge guns, that backfired badly 60,000- 80,000 went underground according to government figures. If Labour becomes the government next year than I expect more aggro for legal gun ownership, but when it comes to airsoft, airgun replicas your looking at huge volumes of guns & people.
  3. They would have to make all manufacturers add a proper serial number then. I see it’s to late to add your comments as the deadline was June 6th.
  4. Renaissance Wax is great for keeping fingerprints away, expensive but lasts ages.
  5. Cut & dried I would say.
  6. I messaged him on the forum yesterday evening and asked what parts of the M&P he was looking for. As of now it’s not even been read.
  7. Another strange one for a different item.
  8. It does have a mobile number at the bottom of the email, if I get it again I will see if anyone answers. I have replied by email but never hear back until the exact message comes through again.
  9. Been getting emails for an advert I placed, always the same, I take this please, signed by Charlie. Never here anymore & then next day get the same again. Is this a bot?
  10. I see the latest update on the GHK Gen 5 now states it will have a trigger pressure similar to the real pistol. They said that about the Gen 3, and we know they can be a very heavy pull weight. The Gen 5 was supposed to be released by March 23, with a much lighter trigger, wonder if they had problems actually getting it reliable, hence the delay & new wording.
  11. I have had several people recently ask questions about my adverts, for example will you do it for this etc , have you got this as well etc, I don’t mind having offers, answering questions, sending pictures, but what really annoys me is when they don’t even read my answer. Why start up a message between us with questions when you don’t intend to even read my response. Can’t see any point, and it just looks rude.
  12. Used them very recently, great service, puts some U.K. dealers to shame.
  13. When it said account suspended, I thought what did I do, so relieved it’s not only me . ?
  14. This is happening a lot, saw a pistol that I advertised a few months back on there recently, using my photographs, reported it and it was removed. Thanks for the heads up.
  15. Trouble is the TM will be all plastic, reliable yes, but no comparison to the GHK when handled. I own a couple of GHK’s and they have been 100% reliable when used with green gas. Yes the triggers are heavy compared to most airsoft Glocks, but still very usable. The next GHK Gen 5 is supposed to have a lighter trigger and much easier to access hop up.
  16. I know that you can now buy Co2 mags for the GHK Glock, but I have my doubts about how the pistol will cope with the extra pressure. Samoon do a Co2 kit which I purchased unfortunately. Parts of the kit are good, like the steel inner barrel & hop chamber & steel rails. The Co2 mag was poor, the valve was rubbish, the supposedly Co2 rated nozzle was damaged after a couple of capsules. I have no doubt the Umarex Co2 mag will be good quality, but the pistol is rated up to 150 psi, Co2 is around 800 psi I think. Spoke with the tech at patrolbase about using high power gas in cold weather as they recommend on there website, he said only use black gas when it’s very cold, so how it would cope with Co2 I don’t know. There is a S/H one on the forum at the moment for £295. I know the seller and can guarantee it’s absolutely as new, probably only been test fired, if you don’t want to buy a brand new one at £370.
  17. Unusual for JD airsoft not to wrap parcels well. Brought from them several times and it’s always been in UPS wrapping. Got one this morning funnily enough.
  18. Just seen that Umarex are now doing a Co2 magazine for the GHK Glock’s. No mention of any upgrades needed to use it though. Wonder what GHK think when they recommend the pistol is run at 150 psi.
  19. Fluctuating temperatures is the worst thing
  20. I can’t recommend it that’s for sure.
  21. I have been in touch with them, not helpful. To be honest I wouldn’t want replacements. The parts are of poor quality. I am pursuing them at the moment through PayPal. Pictures of the supposedly Co2 reinforced nozzle. I don’t know if it’s the way the GHK is made internally that has added to the problem, but it has been perfectly fine running on green gas in the past. The broken edge of the nozzle also damaged the gas router on the mag. The mag also has a valve that sticks closed and is so tightly screwed in that even the tech at Firesupport couldn’t remove it. See the video below from Samoon, so they know it’s a problem. IMG_3814.MOV
  22. Purchased the Samoon Co2 Kit for the GHK Glock, while they include a few steel parts that aren’t steel in the pistol originally which seem of reasonable quality, the Co2 mag is awful and the Co2 ( Supposedly ) nozzle broke after 3 capsules. To be fair it was great shooting it with Co2 for the very limited time I could, but for what is a very expensive kit, especially with posting and charges, my advice, DON’T.
  23. They start at 175 p.s.i, not over powered for a metal slide, agreed not suitable for plastic.
  24. The Vorsk gasses are good and state the p.s.i Abbey Ultra is a green gas, but not as powerful as some. I only own steel pistols, but find abbey ultra runs the majority of them in summer, and indeed winter if the mags are warmed, if warming’s not possible I use the Vorsk gasses.
  25. The trigger is not unrealistic, it is actually realistic of the real thing, it’s just that we are use to the lighter triggers that airsoft Glocks come with.
