I think cheating might be a strong word for it, although it does seem borderline. I would definitely class any attempt to make your armband less visible as unsporting to say the least, to your own team and the opposition. Nobody wants to be that guy who lights up the friendly sniper who snuck into such a good position he's intermingled with the opposition, and that hesitation after spotting them can easily see you out of the game instead. Which to me feels unfair, if we came across a non-ghillie player wearing the band under their kit, we would call that out immediately, but for some reason some ghillie guys seem to think they're above the rules, everyone else, and fair play. SOME ghillie guys, but that mentality, almost like they're the protagonist, and everyone else are NPCs whos experience is irrelevant, does seem to be more prevalent among our scrim wearing brethren.

This RIF is a bit of a mystery, from what I can tell it started out as an MC51, and was then fitted with an SG1 stock, and a rifle length barrel extension after the handguard. The most interesting part is the receiver, Tokyo Maruis are plastic as standard, this is a metal one, brand unknown, very nice fit and very sturdy. Original TM gearbox was cracked at the front, replaced with an aftermarket shell with larger bushes. Radiused to prevent future cracking. 16:1 gears. High torque motor. Original TM hop unit, with Modify? rubber. Shoots very well, nice and snappy on a 7.4v, video available on request. Includes 9 total 70rnd midcap magazines. Two small issues, very slight wobble from handguard, and grip baseplate screws replaced with incorrect type at some point, still secure. Postage £15 with payment by PayPal or cash on collection. Where is all the talk of headshots coming from? Headshots are fine in airsoft and noone has a problem with it. Being a douche nozzle and shooting people in the face when you could shoot the chest annoys people, but that is far and away the most minor thing that KM does which is douchery. Literally noone has said they have a problem being shot in the head if that's all they're presenting. Are you under the impression people can't scroll up and see what you wrote? Because you very definitely did suggest a new type of airsoft with different limits etc. You are entitled to your opinion mate, and everyone else is entitled to theirs, notice how all the experienced airsofters disagree with you? A smart person would consider why.

Fully agree, nothing against anyone who wants to wear any protective gear they like, but you don't get to wear it then act like you're a hard man 😅 I'd have said nothing about it if he hadn't been acting like what KM does is fine and people are too soft.

Noone is 'belittling' you for wearing lower face, you're just being called out for being a fake tough guy. You're acting like KMs victims are just being little bitches, and saying you'd like a more dangerous version of airsoft, yet you don't even play the version we already have to it's max. This is why people are liking the post, because it rings true. There is literally no need for lower face in airsoft at current power levels, this sport IS safe, if everyone follows the rules, which KM doesn't, hence people disliking him. To recap, the point I'm making is you don't get to call other people safety nazis and pussies when you won't take to the field without a mesh training bra on your face.

I don't post often, but I've been lured out of hiding to say; BigBell, are you really sure you want Airsoft to be any more hardcore? Given that you wear lower face, that kind of suggests it's a bit too hardcore for you as it is.
