I'm from the UK and at Uni at the moment studying Aerospace Engineering. I'm just on my placement (3rd) year of a 4 year placement course.

I'm at Coventry Uni but originally from Sheffield and spend pretty much all my holidays up there. This year I'm in Munich, Germany, working (placement).

Anyhow, before now I have only had cheap mess around spring pistols, the type bought for £20 and thrown after a few months. Played paintball and a fair bit of laser quest type things before and disappointed at the lack of gun variation and tactical stuff so decided I want to start airsoft when I come back from my placement year. Knowing most sites will hire out AEG guns I bought a Well L96 AWP sniper with a scope (since sold).

Future:

After my placement year Im going to play the required games of airsoft with hired AEG's to get my licence then get a KWA M93R sidearm, get a gas version L96 and get/make a ghillie suit. - I'll hopefully have some cash together by then

At the same time upgrading the gas L96 internals to get it right for skirmishing and I will obviously get some spare mags, a mask, pouches etc.

I also plan to rig it with a regulator and external air rig - Project for me and a creative friend

From my paintball and airsoft experience Im expecting to play mostly as a marksman/recon element, slowing enemy advances, setting up killzones etc. and will mostly be sat still staring down a scope for a long time

I'll most probably also get claymores and pyro's (Smoke & sound grenades, maybe Flashbangs) in case things get hairy and I need a good distraction to sneak away. But I' hope in that situation a KWA M93R NS2 on full auto (firing an 55rd extended mag in 4 seconds) should keep everyone's heads down for a enough time for me to do a runner and set up shop elsewhere.

Further future:

Depending on how things go and money issues I will probably buy either a support MG or an AEG but I'm talking years down the line here, I did also look at a 6 barrel grenade launcher but to get a good one its £300 + cost of grenades & ammo and I think that may be a tad out of my budget yet ~650 rounds downrange in 3 seconds is quite impressive.

Anyway as you can probably tell I'm one for rare or unique guns, not a fan of apple or any other fashion trends like the American M series rifles.
