  1. If it was an NGRS i'd want one. Guess i'll stick to my GBB on CO2..
  2. I think in some cases "self-lubricating" is a bit misleading, as they really mean "low friction". PTFE is a good example, it's very low friction and often described as self-lubricating but it's not like it has absorbed lubricant that can leak from it, it's just an inherently low friction/wear-resistant material. Acetal/Delrin is another example. I think Oilite was one of the first "true" self-lubricating materials, a porous bronze impregnated with oil for use as bushings and plain bearings.
  3. I love the SIG rifles. I have a 553 but want a 551 as well.
  4. 8 sounds better. (I have no idea what we're even talking about.)
  5. Ha! There is no single right one. 😛 It's how you end up with sidearms, CQB guns, sub-machine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, support guns. All with different attachments. Maybe GBB for good weather, AEG for the colder days or higher capacity. Sometimes you like a gun so much you buy another just like it. 😂
  6. 2 metres of 25x25mm ally square bar to make a new outer barrel for my USP. (No, it won't be a 2m long barrel, i'm just expecting it to take a few attempts.)
  7. Few little jobs today: The barrel on my SCAR-H SSR has a necked down section just behind the flash hider that looked odd. Had a spare M16 thread protector that i bored out and cut down. Bit of test fitting and light cuts to get the flash hider clocked to have the flats vertical. It doesn't look quite right but it's better. Also made an ally charging handle for it, instead of the plastic one it came with. Just needs painting now: Then converted a spare 18C to a 17 G3 as i'm nicking the full-auto bits for another build. Some little milling cuts inside the slide and made a "spacer bar" that sits under the rear sight:
  8. I'd say without the grip and without the rail too.
  9. Of course you did. 😂
  10. Post it here: https://airsoft-forums.uk/forum/151-appraisals/
  11. The "BT" is for bluetooth. Stupidly i bought the non-bluetooth one. Still handy to have. I do have an Acetech tracer with a built-in chrono now that i need to try out. Are we still talking about chronos? 🤔
