  1. Hello, I use a vorsk eu18. I was thinking about getting a upgrade for it by installing these. https://www.firesupport.uk/laylaxnineball-gas-router-for-tokyo-marui-glk-g17g18c-magazine-2pcs.html I have heard they can add up to 50 fps onto your velocity. My only worry is. With the added pressure and how powerful the gas routers will make the green gasses journey, will this add more strain onto my pistol and risk breaking it ? As it is only stock and I have already been through 1 hammer shearing off from normal use. Thanks
  2. @ruskitseller With the double eagle spring one I linked using .25s and no hop I am able to hit people 60-70 meters away. Once 80 but that was I believe by chance.
  3. @RostokMcSpoons. The tri shot ones are alot harder to pull back and not as impressive performance. But if you pump the double eagle single shot 3 times and keep the barrel teetering upwards so the bbs dont fall out you can use it as a multi shot gun. Thanks
  4. Hello, So I bought a double eagle single shot spring shotgun with 2 extra mags just in case my AEG fails on a game day This specific one. https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/double-eagle-m58a-tactical-bb-shotgun-m500-in-blue.html And it is amazing!!! On .25s it shoots 300-305 fps and its accuracy and range is crazy. It only holds 14 bbs in the mag and I only shoot it when I know I am going to hit someone. I get more people out with it than I do with my £400 custom ARP 9. Even seasoned players are amazed with its performance and I have played with it for a full day on multiple times. So here is my question. Why is it so good??? Is it something about springers that are so reliable and accurate? Food for thought happy new year. Thanks
  5. thanks guys I just wanted a quick opinion on that one. i will go with what i found by doing it my way. This concludes this topic. Thanks
  6. @Colin Allen @Skara @Adolf Hamster Hello, So I have shimmed my gear box and its OK. But sods law has occurred. The missing shim has emerged . I now have all 5 factory shims it came with. Every gear had a shim on it both sides when I opened it up apart from the bevel gear which does not have a shim on the top side. (if the gear box shell was laying with its left side down.) So this brings me to my last question if anyone would have the slightest clue. Here are all the measurements of the factory shims. 0.1,0.25,0.45,0.45,0.45 There is a pattern occurring here where the width is kind of dipping. Would anyone recommend the way I should lay these out? No worries if not. many thanks
  7. thank you @Colin Allenlooks like I am watching a how to video. haha
  8. Hello everyone, When I opened my ARP 9 V2 gear box for the first time, I forgot to keep track of what shim goes where and on what bushing as I generally thought they were all the same size. Since opening the gear box I have lost a shim so I am only down to 4 when from the factory it comes with 5. On either side of the sector gear, also one on either side of the spur gear. And finally one on one side of the bevel gear. I know this question is a long shot but does anyone know what sizes of shims G&G uses from the factory on their ARP 9s and what size goes where? As I have ordered a pack of different size shims. (I have not adjusted the motor height from the factory) Many thanks
  9. @ButcherBill x mas has been so I have abit haha and @MrTea thanks I will have a look.
  10. The place I bought it from said that the warranty was only for 2 months and with me opening the gear box I am assuming my warranty is shot? @ButcherBill
  11. @ButcherBill I have only had the arp for 4 months so I don't want to swap it out just yet but thanks for the advice I will go ahead with it. Thanks
  12. @ButcherBill @Austeyr The price includes the aster also and no i cannot install it. As proven by today haha. But you feel the price is good? As I dont know much about prices of tec stuff. Many thanks
  13. Hello, I own a ARP 9 and I use 11.1 lipos with said ARP. Recently the trigger contact wore out. After a painful 5 hours of fighting with the springs and circuits I fixed the issue as the contact was just loose or something. It then failed again. I am now in a dilemma and need a second opinion. So I use my ARP once every week and need it to be reliable and to be able to last a long time as it's the only AEG I own. I have been talking to FUBAR BUNDY in Leeds and they say that they can fit a optical mosfet GATE ASTER. They would install this for £135 obiously providing the aster and do a service for £35 so £170 all in. The gun only cost me £275. I mainly want some one else to install it because after the horrors of today I don't want to experience it again. Is this a good price for installation and a service? Also will the ASTER last me along time and is it reliable? Thanks
  14. Hello @Colin Allen @EDcase. So today I completely disassembled my ARP 9. So looking at the internals everything looks ok. So here are my plans after listening to your advice and tell me if this sounds like a good plan. Plan A So first of all I am going to buy the Perum ETU. https://www.bullseyecountrysport.co.uk/perun-airsoft-gg-etu-mosfet-deans-programable-42705-p.asp?srsltid=AfmBOopl-3dLMmFXsHnnLCgyC5VHWi17ISwZs023THZiOBfJWCoAQUW_ This hopefully will give me an upgrade then rule out if my soldering is the problem. If it still does not work then plan B I will buy another trigger unit just in case it is worn out and causing all these problems. https://www.jollysoftair.com/en/control-units/10729-gg-etu-trigger-switch-for-v2-gearbox-gg-sw2.html Hopefully this will sort it out. Please let me know you opinion. Thanks
  15. @Colin Allen Hello, When I plug the battery in and pull the trigger several times it will now only cycle on some trigger pulls. For example 1 out of 30 pulls. Thanks
  16. Hello @Pseudotectonici completely removed the fuse. And joined the empty space with another wire and soldered both ends to the original circuit. When I pull the trigger several times now out of 30 pulls it will cycle showing that electricity is getting to the rifle. I think it's possibly the switch but I am going to take it appart and see. Thanks
  17. @Rogerborg @EDcase Hello, I have been speaking to a friend who does some work on air soft guns and he says that it could be a worn out trigger switch which would make sense as I have been using it once a week for 6 months. Could this be a cause of the symptoms? Thanks
  18. @Rogerborg @EDcase I have resoldered the wires and they are very neat and I have removed the fuse. I have enough space now to fit the battery. One problem. My trigger response seems to have slowed down on semi. What could be causing this??? Thanks
  19. Thank you everyone I will do the test that @EDcasesuggested and if it dosent heat up we are good to go but if it does I will start a new.
  20. @Rogerborg @EDcase Thank you for the help I really appreciate it. Regarding re doing it I'm not sure I can as there is very little wire left with out rewiring the whole thing. Regarding the solder I've already done. What do you think will happen if I continue to use it with my botched job? Thanks
  21. Hello, Today I soldered for the 3rd time in my life. I soldered wires together which are connecting the tamiya connector to the gun. (rear wired ARP 9) I stripped the end of the wires and intertwined them till they held well on their own. I then melted the solder onto the soldering rod and smeared blobs of solder to the wires to secure them together. It looks pretty bad but holds. I then wrapped them in electrical tape. I was unaware that the actual way to solder is to heat the wire and then apply the solder direct onto the wire. The gun shoots fine and all its normal actions are working. Will the incorrect soldering method which I have used damage the gun in the long run? I use 11.1 lipos with my ARP 9. Thanks
  22. hello, Great ive removed the fuse and everything fits fine. thanks
  23. Hello, My bad I thought they were the same thing haha. If I do remove the fuse what effect will that have on my gun? Thanks @Colin Allen
  24. @Colin AllenI have put a link to a picture of the problem because the file is too big to post. Thanks
  25. I use a 1,100 mah battery. Thought that was the smallest. @ButcherBillwhat battery do you use??? Thanks
