My recipe for AR, Steel outer barrel, 4UAD hop chamber, 4UAD bucking (trim and sand smooth the side off), Unicorn barrel to the correct length 260mm ish maybe. Use some aluminium tape and perfectly wrap so that it's even all the way around the end of the inner barrel, might only need one or two wraps so that is just squeezes down the outer, or get a right sizes o ring, supporting the inner barrel in the outer is key. For the AK, 285mm unicorn barrel, 4UAD bucking (trim and sand smooth the side off), 1 perfect wrap of teflon tape around the bucking where it connects to the barrel. Then again aluminium tape around the end of the barrel so it's supported in the outer (think it only needs one wrap in the AK). I used .4s and doing this has made both shoot incredibly well. It's a much bigger upgrade for the AR than the AK but both can be improved with this. FCW AK Triangle Stock With Rear Cushioned Butt Pad For VFC AV74 GBBR works well if you like the look of them, I like mine.

Thanks and no worries, in case anyone else comes across this, I ended up with: Changed the springs: 2 * 0.6mm WD, 8mm OD, 300mm length springs cut down to approx. 250mm RHD Hop Arm and adjuster set (highly recommended, it seems much better) for the APFG MCX 4UAD bucking UNICORN - 6.03mm Ultimate Precision Inner Barrel Set For GBB (285 mm) - I had the 11.5 version. A tiny wrap of Teflon tape around the bucking and the barrel out of habit, not sure if it makes a difference I had to sand down the bottom of the nozzle (the stripper and the gas router) as magazines were too tight. (Might just be a bad batch of nozzles) Thread lock the screw that holds the nozzle in place in the bolt I also got the reinforced RHD barrel/handguard support, seems much better. So far happy with it, not used it for a game day yet but test firing out to 35ms it was pretty good.

@zizivertHere is a crude chart I made to work out what gas I want to use on a game day if useful, I'll always use ultair over nuprol due to the silcon but tbh I've not had issues with either and not noticed any effects. I always try to be around 125 but I've run anywhere from 100-140 ish no issues.

Modern stuff is cool, but consider a classic M4A1, I spent loads on bits over the years but ended up full circle and it's actually my favourite mostly tm stock parts, the BCM is VFC with real BCM rail, buffer, grip stock, steel barrel, 4UAD hop unit etc, but just can't beat the GWOT look and the performance of the mws.

Woody's summarised it well. I have two of each VFC and TM, I would say if I could only have 1 it would be the TM, it has never skipped a beat the VFCs feel better and perform nearly the same with the hop upgrades, but the TMs just work OTB, never had an issue with any aspect of it inc mags, can't say the same for VFCs. Both are great though, once you get 1 gbbr it's very hard to stop, they are so much fun, TMs the best staring point imo as it just works, the M4A1 won't feel like a toy compared to an AEG, it feels great full stop.

Most PC sizing is based on the plates, you can get different size plates, most people will be medium though -
Is the URGI glide hop? Or whatever it is. I have the SR16 CQB, I added a TNT hop unit, ditched their barrel and rubber it came with and put in a crazy jet and flamingo bucking. Shoots as well as my MWS now.

Hey, I never heard back from anyone, but I've been running it no problems on Nuprol 2.0, turned out the gun I brought second hand already had both upgrades lol, the bowmaster spring is slightly cut down. I think it's only if you had a charging handle extension it happens.

Hi All, Looking to add the angry gun piston and Bowmaster 130%, has anyone known this combo to snap the charging, I saw it happen to someone on reddit, didn't know if this was common? Thanks!
