  1. Those two pictures on the bottom do not look like an meu...
  2. I don't even think it has to be a scope, I'd just say sort of chunky red dot. Maybe an EOtech?
  3. Well it's a nice change to the usual M4/M203 setup we see, but it's not so different in a way. I like it but I'd say it needs a bigger optic imo.
  4. Try ACM Acogs, you can get them pretty cheaply second hand sometimes. I'm going to be after an Acog and an Aimpoint for my rifles soon, maybe another EOtech
  5. Very nice, not sure if the weathering on the M9 is intentional or not but it looks good Not sure about the scope though, I think an aimpoint, EOtech or Acog would suit it better? Food for thought
  6. I guess, I just don't like them enough to want to buy one. Maybe a 19, but I'd rather have a 17.
  7. I don't really like the compacts or the subcompacts, so I think I'll just get a 17 and an 18c and leave it at that
  8. My gut feeling is TM. Also one of those glocks has had the slide racked... just sayin Edit: too late.... And the glock in the dark knight is an 18c I want one
  9. This is a very long second And I'm told the plastic shells are very cheap, less than $10 for 30. That's worth it in my book
  10. I'd be fine with buying from any of the above companies really.
  11. lol.... I was thinking companies like Guarder would be making reinforced parts for it, not sure why but they sprang to mind first.
  12. Haha, they can't be that bad... right? Oh wait, I'm just thinking of the TOP '249s... Maybe someone will make some better internals for them. The design looks alright anyway, and full sized shell ejecting? Yes please. I'd love to have one, if only for the garden
  13. I have two backup AEGs, a CYMA M14 and now a VFC Scar. I'm not sure I'd get rid of the M14, I can throw the mags around in the sort of reckless way you'd never dream of doing with a GBBR mag and I kind of like it. But I agree with you, GBBR is the way forward unless the TOP M4 gets boxes of biodegradable preloaded shells made for it. It can already take plastic shells, so why the hell not?
  14. I like this guy +1 to GBBRs. Edit: Systemas don't even have a working charging handle, I was surprised by that.
  15. It could be good but it's only really used for attack and defence scenarios, and that's it. There have been a few 'find how many bits of tape there are on these 4 poles' type games but that's about it. On another note, I'll be getting pictures of my new RAV soon.
  16. It needs a buttplate and an optic of some sort I'm thinking an EOtech or an aimpoint on a cantilever mount, then mount my PEQ-15 and that's my scar finished
  17. Update on my Scar, it's got a new coat of paint! While it's not perfect, it's a whole lot better than the last one IMO. It's got some patches here and there that I'm not happy about, though it was just a quick job to get rid of the last coat I think it turned out alright. I will end up re-doing it again in the future though. (Yes, that is a hi cap . I'm going to be buying some P/Emags soon, and maybe a MIAD pistol grip.)
  18. It's been done IIRC, so there must be some way of doing it
  19. If it's anything shorter than 10.5" I don't want it either (I want a 10.5" for my L119A1 setup )
  20. I think buying them for me too would be a nice thing to do
  21. Really? A guy at my local had a silver tube on before he sent his to Tack. Do you think it's different depending on the year/model?
  22. I look forward to those results. But I think what PTW owners fail to understand, is that a PTW is just an upgraded AEG. Regular AEGs have plenty of potential for upgrades, where the systema has none but could really do with some especially around the hop unit area.
  23. I'm saying they're terrible for the price you pay. For that amount of money, I'd expect the thing to hit the moon out of the box, but instead you actually have to spend it off to someone to get it modded... I find the idea laughable
  24. I'd like to know the absolute max range your PTW has right now, and the results of your 100 yard grouping, I'll do some work on my newly bought Scar and prove with a fraction of the cost I can have a better performing rifle.
