  1. I have indeed, had good results. Ive also tried intermittent fasting on 8 and 6 hour eating windows. But similar, i wouldn't suggest them to the average joe trying to loose 2 stone. When I say I don't agree with it, I dont agree that you should have to make such a huge change in lifestyle to achieve a more healthy weight / view on yourself / whatever the goal is. If someone is trying to loose weight and opt for healthier life styles, I don't think it should be the go to option. People should focus more on there relationship with food. Knowing how many calories are in your meal, being able to deal with a bit of mental hunger cravings because youre frankly bored. I just think there is more sustainable choices for the average person; not disputing it doesnt work. I feel that most people with a bad relationship with food will struggle to see if through. The most important thing is just doing what works for you and what you enjoy as ultimately that will be the easier to sustain.
  2. I personally don't agree with cutting out carbs, they are far more filling then calorie dense foods such as fats. For me its as simple as calories in vs calories out. Don't get me wrong, I still eat fats as part of a balanced approach. There are 'naughty' foods that you can snack on that are low calorie dense foods, personal favorite is cheap microwave popcorn. One bag, which is a pretty large bowl is around 150 calories. You can't out train a bad diet however. Cannot recommend doing what others have suggest, martial arts, boxing ect to loose weight. Its fun, engaging and you burn bloody loads of calories doing so. Oh, and hiking/walking. Not like 20 minute walks, 2-8 hours of walking (if not airsofting at the weekend) is fantastic. I am however, 25 and have never really been in a position to loose weight but have achieved 'good' levels of conditioning.
  3. Am I right in thinking flash mags just dont need winding?
  4. Hello Not trying to be a dick but SRC g36 is 145 new with a warranty from a retailer 200 seems.. expensive
  5. Its an cyma M14. I just wouldn't know where to start (I think i've read your guide briefly). I've just never teched on guns. I've tried and run out of patience.
  6. After having researched a little bit on it in the last month I really do see the appeal. To me its the silence they operate with. The idea of HPA taping my m14 and turning it into a dmr appeals to me. Just a bit outlay on cost!
  7. All in all, I've probably had more 'negative' experiences with none HPA users since coming back then HPA users. You're very much correct, its about the person on the other end. Was just stating I hadn't met the stereotypical HPA user before.
  8. I stopped playing for around 5 years. Got back into it around March. HPA. HPA everywhere. Up until Sunday when I played Camp Sparta I had no issues with it, other then the occasionally pen-arse showing off there silly ROF while the marshal is doing the game brief. Thankfully, didn't happen to me but to my friend who is just getting into the hobby/sport/money-pit. Camp Sparta is a single shot site everywhere, but someone was hiding, proceeded just to let a flurry of around 7-10 shots off, all hitting the mark from no more then 10-15M away. I've been reading about the stereotype HPA w*nkers on here but was yet to fully see it in the flesh. Completely uncalled for, all into his back too.
  9. Going back a few pages here but! Had an incident at pheonix airsoft a few weekends back. A gent did a dad mans walk on our section of the team holding a key area down. I saw him approaching and thought nothing of him, he was coming from the direction in which we had a couple players left. Walking towards us gun just held very lazily across his chest. Anyway, he cleared the whole area out which lead to a big shift in momentum in the game. Whatever. Spoke to him at the next games briefing. He openly told me he was using his Mp44 to cover up his armband. Was okay with the situation up until that point. Dickmove and I'm sure most people would say that too.
  10. He's took down the ad now. Explained to him how ridiculous he was being
  11. You have stated an additional £15.00 postage on your ad. I get your costs to be £215. You have listed it for £235 shipped Granted, I'm £5 off (didn't account for the shipping from surplusstore) I'll try and be helpful. You've originally over paid for the HK45, you can pick these up for less then are you trying to sell, with a company backed warranty. Why would someone ever want to buy it for more then you can buy it from a company from yourself with no warranty? "Its not second hand" - it will be previously owned by yourself (regardless of how little or much you use it). Its two tone and you paid £10 for it.. I hate to tell you, but for the 95% of us out there who don't require this to be two tone, this devalues any RIF. When you apply the above said logic, can you see why I think your off your chops? If you drive a brand spanking new BMW off the forecourt home, do you think someone will buy it for the same price you did? Or from BMW themselves?
  12. So you are openly looking to make £25 profit on a second hand sale?
  13. You're off your chops with that price https://airsoftdirect.uk.com/tokyo-marui/tokyo-marui-hk45-tactical-black-pistol/ £155 New
  14. Some people aren't okay. £210 + £15 shipping? I guess the BB's make up the difference from buying it new
  15. A whole £9.99 less then buying it new from Patrol base Or £50 more then taiwangun https://www.taiwangun.com/submachine-gun-aeg/cm-041g-upgraded-version-cyma?from=listing&campaign-id=19 Not even like "brand new only used to shoot cans of heinz beans in the garden" Its been skirmished...
  16. The lack of description offends me more then anything. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/trying-to-sell-my-gun_i27054
  17. Thanks to all that helped. I cleaned the barrel. Problem solved didn't change anything else. (bit of an idiot really aren't I)
  18. Thanks for explaining mate, much appreciated
  19. Is fully plastic or partially? Watched a review earlier that said metal upper receiver. have you had an issues with the hop sliding out of position? Thanks for the info. Probably wiser to buy on my doorstep.
  20. Sorry to hi-jack the thread a bit. Interested in getting MP5SD6. Worried about the issues above as i'm not the most tech savvy. Is this a relatively easy fix? I'm unsure what a TDC mod is. Is it worth steering clear of the JG platform and option for CYMA because of these issues or are you likely to get the same?
  21. Thanks for coming back to me. I've gotta head to the shop tomorrow so I will take a look to see if its all plastic. That is a bit of a turn-off. Bit of internet searching has revealed cyma now do a blue edition and a high speed edition which seem slightly more promising. Mind you, not available in the UK and I've never imported a purchase before but I guess thats a topic for another another thread / reading another thread.
  22. Ello Ello, My local airsoft store has an JG MP5SD6 for sale for £119.99. Which I keeps catching my eye and considering its out of stock in most places is becoming more tempting. I've always loved the MP5SD6 and it is for sure on the "to purchase" list. Just looking for some opinions on the above really? I've done a bit of research prior, seems that the hop can dial down over the cause of a day. How is the general performance in general? I'm aware CYMA do a version, so if anything has any experience with there's feedback would be welcomed too. Thanks.
  23. Do you know what mags they were? I've not noticed any of mine not being sound. Using lonex flash mags in it for the most part. Honestly, I wanted a back up gun and wasn't overly fussed what it was. I put out an offer far less then the list price (gotta try it sometimes) and collected the same day. How have you found yours? I'm really impressed with it so far! I'm going to try and test out a few different options. Had a thought that it might be struggling to list the .28s while walking my dogs. Few different ammo options, test full auto. I'll report back in due cause. Need to test it somewhere with a fair bit of range. I'll check the spring on the hop up prior. My biggest concern is that something within the gearbox needs replacing. Rather then buy a chrono i'm going to ring my local shop to see if they have one I can borrow. I do remember it being right on the 350fps limit when I chrono'd. They only asked for one shot however..
  24. Okay understood. I don't own a chromo i'm afraid. Any suggestions for one? They are pretty useful. Sorry, if it was an air seal / sealing issue you would expect that the issue would be more consistent or the gun to be more consistent? I'm hoping its not an air seal thing as I don't fancy opening up a gear box.. Thanks for the help as well 🤘
  25. I'll try and check to see if anyone has. I don't have many pals to ask (who airsoft) I'm afraid. That's good to know. Don't fancy messing with the hop arm. Is that a definite that it would cause issues?
