  1. Have had 4 Perun V3 hybrid MOSFETs in the same LCTAk74. I'm unsure why but they all suddenly stop working randomly. Have tried a new motor and battery. They all work fine for the varying amounts of time then Will just cut out and no matter how many batteries I try they will not come back on. Even if I unplug the Motor they wont go into diagnostics mode. The wiring isn't caught or damaged, at this point I have been babying everything. Perun customer service has been brilliant and I have had it repaired each time but its over a month wait each time due to them being in Poland. Lots of forums I have read about them has been nothing but praise and at this point something clearly is wrong with my gun but when I use my old Gate Pico SSR MOSFET that works perfectly.

  2. I have uploaded a video of the gun in both semi and full auto. It works for on semi but grinding sound on full auto. All stock gears, spring, SHS high torque motor and perun V3 hybrid MOSFET, have lowered the RPS on the MOSFET which made a bit of a difference which makes me think it's PME. used to work ok with this setup but I then installed 13:1 gears, it started grinding then put it back to stock. My AOE needs to be calibrated as I haven't done it yet but all the metal teeth on the piston and gears are all intact and not slipping as far as I can see.

  3. Have a LCT ak74. Have installed a perun V3 hybrid and SHS 13.1 gears. Gears have Been shimmed and have been working perfectly but all of a sudden there was a grinding sound on both full auto and semi. Have since taken the gearbox apart and installed the old LCT 18.1, have tried a new motor, different battery and weaker spring and each time it fires perfectly flawless on semi auto but as soon as I fire in full auto I can hear a grinding sound. The gears are spinning but the piston isn't moving. So I'm thinking whether it ground (I think that's the correct word) down the teeth on the piston, but would've thought it would fire on semi. Any and all help would be appreciated.

it's always worth checking and double checking the teeth.

is it top wired? you might be having issues with the selector plate catching on the wires and getting stuck forward (come to think of it, that would explain why it'll fire auto once then go to only semi), if the selector lever is stiff this would be a good indicator.

All sorted. You must've been right. I put the teeth in the correct position that looked correct on the selector switch but it was one tooth to far over so moved it across and now it's all good. Thank you

Have you tried testing the gearbox outside of the body, i.e. checking auto and semi? Hooking up a battery and examining functions before you go to put it into the body.

Is it a newish gun, some of the parts can wear away.

Finally, when you disassembled it, did you change any of the parts in the gearbox?

Here's a useful link that can help with the visualizations. https://tacticalparts.com/blog/diagnosing-version-3-selector-switc/

All sorted now. It was one tooth to many across on the selector switch. Nothing was replaced. Glad it's sorted was racking my brain for ages

i wanna say it's the teeth on the selector arm jumping out of position during reassembly, they're tricksy buggers for doing that.

best way i've found is to ensure to assemble with the gun on it's left side, let gravity hopefully hold them in place but hold them down for extra security.

Have put the gearbox in and out so many times of the body of the gun that I must've put it in right at least once but it's always the same.

  6. Have a LCT TX74UN. followed a guide to disassemble the v3 gearbox. However after reassembling the gun only fires semi automatic. It will fire auto once when I put the gun from safety into full auto but once I either take my finger off the trigger or move it from semi back onto full it will only fire semi automatic. I have tried reassembling it multiple times incase I am missing something. Everything seems to be fitting together. Followed multiple guides but nothing seems to make it full auto again. Spent the last 3 nights for a good few ours each trying to get this sorted to no avail.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

    Thanks

  7. Hi guys

Looking to get this AK however was wondering if anyone had a bit more information. Looking to get a tracer unit but it uses a 28mm thread but can't seem to find any that fit. Seen there are similar designed CYMA ak74 with a similar juzle that have a 14mm thread to 28mm adapter but no info on this. Also looking to get spare mags but were unsure as which fit. Seen one review for the gun that says different mags are hit and miss.

Mags I've been looking at are:

Thanks guys. I know it's very specific

ASG 7.4V 1300 mAh Lipo Battery – Stick Type Tamiya connector is what i use in my ump, fits perfectly.

Do you mind showing me which one you got. My battery is 16mm in diameter but they seem too be 18-20mm did your ump come with the same stick battery as mine?

Seems as though a lot of ak battery should fit. From what I can see online.

  9. Hi everyone sorry if something similar has already been asked but this is my first post . Bought a UMP 45 sportline for my first SMG as i go CQB. It came with a 8.4v 1100mah NiMH battery and want to replace it for Lipo or Li-on however not sure what battery to get. The battery sits above the barrel and is fed from the back with the stock folded away. It's a round stick battery measuring only 1.6cm in width so I need something very thin but can't seem to find anything that will fit.

    Thanks guys
