So an update on the build. I opted for an AA malamune cylinder, crazy jet barrel and an autobot rubber. I'm happy with how it operates and i've managed to keep it pretty quiet still. It's pushing 490fps but the joules are 1.59j that can't be right surely. I was hoping for over 2j with the rapax spring.

Hi thanks for your input. Yes the tm has already been purchased. My train of thought regarding the pdi hop chamber was due to the fact i can use an aeg barrel and hop rubber and ive had great results using zci and ML that and i can get the barrels cheap from a local dealer. I shall take your advice on board and see what i can get price wise. Thanks for the heads up on the spring. That may have been the reason my as02 was so hard to pull as I used a m150 spring.

Hi i'm having trouble with an agm mg42. Certain parts have been replaced prior to me going inside. Ive fitted a new 14t shs metal rack piston and a e&c tappet plate. The problem i'm finding is it will not feed. Someone else has fitted a nuprol (so called) silent piston head and cylinder head. From what i have found the nozzle no longer travels back far enough for the bb to feed into the chamber. It has a stock nozzle so i'm confident the nozzle isn't the issue. I went for the e&c tappet as it was a direct match of that removed. Evidence leads me to believe the cylinder head is the problem as it doesnt sit quite right in the cylinder. Has anyone found the perfect replacement cylinder head?

The gun is now sorted. Turned out to be low compression due to a worn non original nozzle. Fitted a airsoftpro double or ring nozzle and it's all good now. It was a nozzle for a scar L so needed a slight mod to reduce the length due to the masada having an uncommon size.

Hi yes I did. It's not to bad tbh being a budget gun i quite like it. Out of the box it is a little hot for most UK sites It chronod at 367fps on 0.25g specan bbs

Hi all my first time on a specific forum so please go gentle. so I have purchased a used MSK e03 aeg and from the start it was having feeding issues. On semi it would fire around 5/6 rounds then miss, another pull on the trigger and 1 round would dribble out of the barrel followed by a 2nd at a full pelt the same happens on full auto. Being a used gun I thought the hop rubber may be worn so decided to change it for a madbull blue and while I had it apart decided to also change the stock barrel for a nuprol 6.03mm barrel. I thought it would solve the issue but alas the problem is still present. I'm not very experienced in dismantling aegs, replacing a motor and a hop rubber and barrel is probably about as advanced as is gets. Upon closer inspection I noticed that a small clip which I think holds the hop up chamber into the upper receiver looks to be snapped which could be the route to the problem although I'm not 100% on that (hop chamber is made of plastic and seems brittle) I'm looking for either a replacement or an upgrade on the chamber but I can't for the life of me find anything to replace it with or any parts for this particular gun. Has anyone experiencedone the same problem? If so how did you fix the issue and where did you source your parts? I'm in the UK so hopefully I can get parts within. Many thanks.
