i should start a store 😂 The reddot is super clean, i ran fakes before but they don't come close to the real thing. Only thing i want to find is a higher mount as i play with a dye mask and i have to tilt my head now a little bit. For me the strikefire is a bit too big. i like to keep my build and loadout as minimalistic/funtional as pissible as i play only cqb and i want to be fast. My friend ordered the rail from wholsesale supplier for me. i know you can get it from www.airsoftshop.be aswel.

It was love at first sight 😍 It is indeed a vortex crossfire, its a lovely reddot. i have it for about a year and it never lost zero on my rk74, i only have 2 games with my mws but its holding zero for sure (if it does for RS it should def for airsoft.) i like the fact that if you would have irons you can still use them as the mount is skeletonized. I would pick that one anyday as it looks clean and has functionality to it. (ive seen crossfires with another mount aswel but i liked this one better.) All this with a lifetime guarantee made me pull the trigger on getting one.

    THE TM MWS thread

Yesterday my rail came in so my friend at Repairsoft helped me out with the install. I went with the Madbull noveske NSR 7" freefloat rail. We went to try the PTS ring and the rail but it left too much space between the reciever and the rail. the ring was needed though but it didn't fit the barrel nut, it got stuck in there actually. Jeff milled the smallest ring so it would fit all the way into the barrel nut. This also fixed the space between the reciever and the handrail. With the handrail in place it was time to get the barrels to length. I didn't get a new barrel and wanted to cut the original down. After putting it in the milling machine we saw that the outer barrel was conical which was a bit of a problem but we managed to get the job done pretty quickly. Then we cut off the inner barrel so it stuck out a little further than the outer barrel so it would be just in front of the LED in my tracer. After that the outer barrel needed just a little bit of paint and the job was done. Loving this CQB build, looking forward playing with it in the near future. Only thing i'm looking for now is a real steel skeletonized pistol grip. Also i would like my vortex +- 1 inch higher without making it too bulky, minimalism is key imo. if anyone has an idea for that please let me know! Hope you guys enjoy the build aswel.

That's what i would assume aswel. If only they would have the infrastructure to make bigger batches. I'm looking for an mws nozzle and mag feeding lips but even in japan everything is sold out

Can anyone confirm this? Would really suck to have different color mags imo. Can anyone post a comparison pic of the 2 mags? Thank you

I've cut mine down and it holds more gas for sure, don't see any change in the consistensy of shots. I stuck the same skewer i used to replace the mag spring into the tube to see where the filling valve was and used a marker to see how long i could cut it. I left +- 1 inch extra so the zinc tube is a bit larger than the filling valve as this is the reason why some people get inconsistent shots (i've heard.) Can only recommend the mod.

I'm 90% sure it's the adapter, the mws mags don't like steel adapters. Try the plastic one it should work way better! A lot of people run their mws on propne (it's basically the same as green gas but with an added smell for safety reasons in industrial use and added silicon oil. Your bucking doesn't like silicon so better of using it without.

Is your adapter alu or plastic? Mine fill realy bad with an alu adapter, plastic is better but i have the same problem as you never sure when its actually full. I'm gonna place some silent fill o rings monday so maybe this will fix things. I you have gas spitting out your mags aren't silent will ones as you wont see gas spitting out of them. You can clearly hear the gas go into the mag and you won't hear a thing when they are full. (atleast thats how it is with my hi capa mags)

Anybody knows if I will need the pts ring for this type of rail? Or would it be better for me to buy a 6,5" outer barrel with a wider lip? Anybody knows of a suitable outer?

I see hehe. im wondering if i should get a ring or just look for a barrel that will fit the rail. I really want a heat treated barrel or anodized blue outer barrel but i'm not sure what to look for. (which ones will fit the MWS and won't need the PTS ring.

i'm not sure what you mean, you had a hard time looking for a rail that would fit without the pts ring?

very nice, i saw the two john wick movies last weekend because of you guys and the conversion kit, not my usual cup of tea but it was some good stuff! loved how the action was detailed and not shaking all over the place like most action movies. also keanu checked on his mag to see how many bullets it still had which was awsome imo! Does the kit need a pts ring to fit the rail or does the outer barrel have a "wider lip" as wo1f refered? @LVOA-D why did you sell those parts, you just wanted the lower? got some pics of your build?

try green devils, i have shot about 400 rounds with them, no residue or split bbs so far. i don't know any belgian store selling non bio bbs under 0.4 so i got to do it with bio's. I've seen people say to use geoffs but the only geoffs i can get are bio bbs aswel, are they even selling non bio ones?

    THE TM MWS thread

i use green devils and did have any problems so far. wasn't a problem with the fill valve in there really. measured it down and cut it with a pipe cutter, about 5 minutes per magazine, easy mod. i don't even have a shop in belgium selling non bio bb's.

So does anybody Know Why tm puts the zinc tube in the Mags? Im gonna do the gas mod Tomorrow by cutting it with a pipe cutter. Any advantage to leaving it a little longer than the tube from the fill valve?

    THE TM MWS thread

Can anybody confirm that any outerbarrel wil fit the MWS or do i need to look for something in particular, ive seen the post on one of the first pages from @Wo1f where he states that the dytac has a wider "lip" so aftermarket rails will fit without pts ring. I'm looking for a 7 or 8" barrel/rail. will any brand do or does it have to be a dytac? I really want a heat treated outer barrel, any tips? 😀

@Katana guess we can say it's not the nub that's causing the tear on the bucking. Probably the modify bucking is a lemon or their quality control is shite.
  22. itsme

    THE TM MWS thread

@Katana it shouldn't rupture after only 200 shots, but can you tell me what bb weight u used? .25 .30 or heavier? do you still have your tm bucking to replace it with? did you use the supernub with the tm bucking aswel and do you see any wear and tear?
  23. itsme

    THE TM MWS thread

What bb weight were you using? Did you stay away from silicon oil with the bucking? i've been told there are other nubs made out of another material which are hard but not as hard as brass which could do the job. (probably not lifting .45 though 😛 ) only 200 shots is really bad but it's weird other people are reporting very good results. maybe it was a lemon, im really wondering now. I haven't bought the sixg nub yet as its pretty steep priced for non UK customers.
  24. itsme

    THE TM MWS thread

that sucks man i haven't put mine in yet, really doubting if i should though now. Someone told me he sixgnub might cause rupture of the bucking. you think it might have caused it?
