If you focus on the thing you're shooting at with both eyes open, rather than focus on the reticle, it shouldn't matter.

Perhaps I need to give the combo another go. I didn’t get on well with it when I first tried it!

To be honest, for those sites, I wouldn't even say you would need to do that - keeping it stock you will probably be fine. There aren't many places that those upgrades would benefit at either site. I can't find any modify tan in stock right now. The only place that had them recently was Longbow but they are out of stock currently. Magazines also seem to be out of stock currently. I had heard that they weren't on the build list for TM for a few months so I suspect that supplies have dried up and you may have to wait a bit to get some. Perhaps consider the second hand market. Iron Airsoft PMAGs and Prowin mags are an option but I've not great things about either so buyer beware.

You are correct. The MWS charging handle is shorter than a RS one.

I’ve never heard of either being a premium barrel maker. I have an un-used Prometheus barrel that would be perfect if you’re interested?

I would suggest having a read through the post. There is a lot of information but there's a lot of useful stuff in here. But there is a common thread that the Modify Tan bucking is great, especially with a SixG nub.... that being said, I didn't get on with it.

I have thought about having a DMR version but a lot of sites here have a 30m MED, so its too far. If it were 15 then I think I would do it, because I will get to use my pistol more. My advice to you is to stick with normal assault, but I would advise against a longer inner barrel. It will make it a lot harder to lower your FPS to a legal level, especially on heavier BBs. The NPAS works, but only to a point. After a while, it becomes unstable and the FPS drops through the floor. To lower my FPS I have tried NPAS, Low Flow Disks, and G&P adjustable low flow valve. I'm still not happy that I am below the 1.13J I need to be, but I am getting there with tweaking.

I have the SixG nub, as well as the Maple Leaf Omega nub. I was trying it with the omega, for the extra contact, and that's the setup that it seemed pissed with. Cant work out why either!

I bought one to try but haven't fielded it yet. It doesn't seem to sit right on the stock TM barrel. It sits perfectly on a crazy jet, but when I assemble the hop chamber and check hop amount, it looks like the patch is uneven. Which barrel / nub / chamber set up did you use it in your MWS?

Put a heavier BB in and you’ll creep closer to the equivalent energy of 350 on a 0.2g.

I do indeed and I rate it. UAC split into two companies. CowCow and DP. This BCG is the same as the UAC one...

Rainbow8 have the Black DP one in stock.

I believe they made other refinements as well but I suspect they are quite subtle.

Just out of interest @Davegolf - do you have the Version A or Version B?

I am having no luck with buckings currently. Put a Modify Tan in and the mound ripped. Put in a Prommy Purple and I get the stickiest nozzle ever. Maple Leaf Decepticon 50degree and the nozzle shreds the outside and results aren’t great. Thinking of trying a TNT TR hop next. What degrees do you recommend? Edit: also will this work well with the brass nub or is there a better one to use? And I take it it’s the VSR version?

If I remember rightly, it dropped my FPS by about 20-25 over stock!

So from what I’ve managed to piece together, red will give higher FPS, green gives low. Each of them have 3 settings to dial it up or down. Earlier in this posted, someone listed his results with the red which were useful. I purchased a blue blue and green. The green is in my MTR on the lowest FPS setting and it’s managed to bring it under the equivalent of 350FPS on a 0.36g BB which even the NPAS struggled with! Edit: read from here:

I think that the “MWS Club” is really the “ZET system club”. As long as it’s a TM GBBR then we are all friends.

How many rounds are you getting out of it?

You may find someone who wants to convert to a CQBR occasionally but without an upper receiver it will be a tough sell. Though I do know someone who might be interested in the shorter outer barrel.
