Haven't tried it myself, but RS buffers have a flat surface, whereas the MWS buffers protrude and mate with the BCG. I heard that they work, but that they create performance issues because of the lack of protrusion!

If they are putting it in an AR receiver block in the vice then you should be all good- if they are trying to put it straight in the vice then I’d be very worried.

The Warrior ones are a clone of the HSGI Tacos but, in my opinion, not as good as the Tacos. It sounds to me like you aren’t weaving the pouches on properly if they are coming off the plate carrier- can you post a close up of how they are attached? With any pouch I’ve ever used, the chances of them coming away from the plate carrier is zero...

After several games of "which was was it again" it was the only way I could get it to stick in my head.

The way I remember it, and bare with me here........ is this: If you were to hold the rifle as if in the aim and rotate the rifle around the wheel, and keep the wheel still... the rifle will point upwards and the wheel won't have moved relative to you. That way makes the BB's go up i.e. more hop.

What you called “centre piece” I called the barrel. Thats cool though. Was it easy to do?

Hold on - what selector is that? Can we use RS selectors and just take the switch off and put it on the TM barrel?

What about a wiki? We can set one up with categories for different things and try to trawl through the post and extract useful info?

At the time I was using 0.36g Longbows and ASG Ultrair (might have been Guarder Black if it was cold).

It acts as the rocket valve and by adjusting it you change its length. In its “shortest” setting, it absolutely increased FPS for me and it’s adjusted by an Allen key type tool (though its not actually an Allen key) so in theory you have a high level of granularity in your adjustment.

So cost including shipping is 4198HKD which is approx £435. You’ll pay 2.5% duty on the cost of the item and shipping which would be £10.88. You’d then pay VAT on the cost of the item, The shipping and the duty which would be £89.18. Therefore your total cost would be £535.06. If you were lucky for customs not to charge it then you’d be better off, if they do then you’d be worse off.

See I found that I got inconsistent fills when I used o-rings in the mags... I could get larger fills, and didn't waste gas... but inconsistent none the less. I found that the temperature of the mag played a great part in this and if the mag was warm, I'd struggle to get much in and if it was cold, it could fill it up a lot.

Please elaborate! I’m interested but just not sure it can make that much difference for the price. Please elaborate! I’m interested but just not sure it can make that much difference for the price.

Welcome to the thread Jake! If memory serves, it came directly from APS but I'm not sure you can order it as a standalone item so you might struggle to obtain it.

When it comes to red dots.. something to bare in mind. If you have an astigmatism in your eye(s), you will never see a clean dot. One of my friends didn't realise that he had one and just assumed all red dots were a little blurry. 100% recommend the Vortex Optics though - they are worth every penny.

I have a hard time believing this is true. It’s more likely they would discontinue the Type 89 and mags than the MWS mags. TM build in batches so I suspect that they just don’t have a batch on the build list for a month or two, hence the shortage, but will be available again soon. This has happened before.

So my first one crapped out pretty quickly - tore inside. I installed my second one the other day to give it another go and I had terrible feeding issues. 2 out of 5 shots dribbled out of the barrel. I wonder if their quality control has gone down the pan or something. I have been having luck with a Maple leaf autobot (slightly modified) so far.

Yeah I realised after I posted that, I’ve been looking at heavier weight tracers by Longbow and Geoff’s and they are all bio, so I assumed bio.....

I can see why he might think that, if he is talking about the H nub which is much more angular, but agree with RobHedley - I don't think the SixG one will do that. You run tracer in a GBBR? Brave! Whats your experience? What brand do you run?

Hi and welcome to the club! No tools are required to maintain as such but to strip parts, in the event you need to, you will likely need some screwdrivers, barrel nut tool, and a magazine valve tool. The width of the buffer tube is mil spec but the style of it is commercial spec - I have put a mil spec Magpul CTR stock on and it fits lovely! Most should fit, some might be wobbly or very tight. Trial and error. Its not real steel spec - has to be MWS specific, but PTS do a MWS Radian charging handle (have it on mine and its very nice) Yes. I have a Magpul K2 on mine - have to use the original MWS bolt. The thread on the receiver is AEG spec, so anything for an AEG should fit, but you will likely need to buy the barrel adapter for your barrel to work with an alternative setup. It replaces the rubber nub in the hop chamber - it gives stability - worth doing for lifting any weight.

“Broke” is not the right term for this. You should have used “catastrophic failure”.
