  1. Thanks all for your input. Interesting to see the history of them, mad to think they hark back to 96-97ish if they were popular after the ban.
  2. No, there’s no compensator or extra sights, but now that you mention it there is a cut out in the foam of the case 🤷🏼‍♂️. Yep 8 shot rotary confirmed. Well, with any luck there will be someone somewhere that wants it to get it off my hands and out of the way.
  3. Sweet, I'll have to join up to the umarex forum then and see what happens. Thanks for the heads up 👍
  4. 🤞ooh, that sounds like its worth the hassle Looks like just black plastic bud, I have attached some pics if that's any use? I'll have a scout about the Umarex boys club forum. Ha, yeah I'm on zeroin, thought it died years ago. Would definitely be worth a look if its alive and kicking again. Thanks for all the tip offs guys
  5. So quite a while ago I was given an air pistol by a colleague of mine, he found it whilst clearing his dads house out. Its an Umarex M92 fully traded, cased up and in an 'ok' condition. It's non blowback and fires pellets. I'll be honest and say its really not my cup of tea for several reasons. It's certainly not new and the front sight is wobbly etc. I know its really not worth anything, so I was just wondering what to do with it? I don't fancy setting up a gunstar/guntrader account just to sell a single air pistol for probably £25 at best, and by time shipping has been considered IF it sells, it seems like hassle for no reward. I'm not a fan of the M92 platform so no good as a wall hanger etc. If anyone has any ideas on getting it out of the way it would be much appreciated, don't have much experience with this kind of thing and don't want to fall foul of any laws. Cheers
  6. In terms of protecting the pace box, you could just get a tightish T-shirt and your local seamstress to sew a pocket on in the correct place, pop a small D30 (cardinal hip protectors are pretty flat) or other flexible armour pad of your choice in, or even cut a little camping mat to size and bam! £90 saved on protection vest and armour? Again though, this is just my musings and you should do all due diligence and pay no real attention to this 🤷🏼‍♂️ edit: cardiac EP? Braver man than me 😂
  7. Fixed it for you, hope that's better. A guide can be found at Medtronic's (make probably 99% of ICD's and pacemakers in use) website of what is considered no and low risk. It could be presumed and care must be taken by the individual concerned to weigh up the following; that the motor from a golf cart is considered low risk if kept at least 6 inches away from the patients implantable device, that perhaps on careful consideration the small magnet used in an AEG motor may probably but not definitely be ok. Of course this would totally be after you have weighed up all the possible risk and made your own informed opinion and after consultation with a cardiologist. Just a bit of further information for Clanktank to guide him. Hope this also complies with your litigious requirements Rodgerborg. And no, I shall not be posting my personal and professional details on an open forum - for obvious reasons).
  8. Honestly Probably, the magnetic field from an AEG motor will should not interfere with a pacemaker. As I'm sure you've seen the big ring magnets we use to disable and reset them it takes quite a bit of strength from the magnetic field. The main issue would be the reason for the pacemaker; HOCM, 2nd/3rd block, AF, etc. If you are fit enough to partake in moderate exercise normally, Airsoft really shouldn't be a problem with a pacemaker - just take it steady and do what you are comfortable with. Any chest pain or breathlessness that's unusual then cool it down and take appropriate steps for you if it doesn't subside with rest.
  9. @Cr0-Magnon PM inbound re: Guarder frame. Yeah, I know I’ll never get back what I put into it. When I did the 226’s I was using them as primaries during CQB and they had a lot of use so didn’t mind when it came to selling them on. The glock was a spur of the moment decision I made for something to do, not something to do out of profit, but loosing £200ish very quickly I can’t do. Might sell my KSC’s off and run this now. Cheers bud.
  10. No, not my 1st TM to Guarder and got the slide moving like glass on the chassis. Sanded both rails and slots on the slide up to 3000, sits and slides lovely, cycles flawlessly. Done a couple of full 226’s and a 1911 in the past so learned the hard way 😉. 150% recoil as stated, as a very recent G17 (shipped with G4 ambidextrous mag) I was under the impression the hammer spring was adequate, and have found it to be so whilst using propane. I’ll have a look at the hop unit and see about moving things about, seems to be functioning but if it’ll perform better in the TM body, it’s certainly worth a shout. Unfortunately Guarder frames in the U.K. are rocking horse 💩 right now, and nothing is leaving China for a while according to most of the retailers I use. Thanks for the advice, looks like I’ll be keeping it then and having a play with the hop tomorrow.
  11. Make/brand: Tokyo Marui G17 Any accessories included: -Guarder Aluminium Slide -Guarder Steel outer barrel -Guarder frame serial tag/frame safety delete -RA-Tech 150% Recoil Spring and steel recoil rod -Mapleleaf Crazyjet inner barrel -Mapleleaf Hop up unit -Mapleleaf Autobot 50* hop rubber -9Ball has route seal (1 installed +3 for extra mags) -Guns Modify steel trigger bar -Original TM night Sights -Original TM parts that were replaced (Except stock slide) This was a lockdown project for me, usually run KSC based Glocks. Just wanted a tinker really, I know what the build cost me to do, just trying to get a value really to see if it’s worth selling on or keeping as a wall hanger/occasional run and gun for pistol CQB matches. The base G17 shot 3 mags off to test function, then once completed this build has fired another 3 magazines worth, again to ensure correct functioning. What would you guys & gals expect it to go for? Thanks 😊 Pictures: hopefully attached.
  12. You’re saying collection required, but from where dude?
