  3. Oh no, £11 for 800ml green gas+ 350bbs per mag 😢. I wonder if converting to hpa would work out cheaper in the short to medium term?
  4. I'm looking to get a We 350 round green gas drum mag for my AAP-01. Does anyone know how much green gas these go through? How many rounds can I expect to get out of a regular sized gas bottle?

Fantastically well built AEG with factory fitted mosfet. Snappy trigger response. Great base for a DMR. I am including an extra spring which once fitted takes the fps to just under the DMR limit of 445-450 fps. It has a quick spring change system which doesn’t need the gearbox opening up to change the spring. The fitted spring chronos at approximately 330fps on 0.20. Bought less than 6 months ago from Patrol base. Used in probably maximum 2 games. Includes 2 high cap magazines.

Thanks, it was indeed slightly missaligned by one tooth. All working as expected for now.

I tried installing the Rocket cylinder head and nozzle. The cylinder head was too tight for the stock cyma cylinder and it ripped the o rings so went back the original head, loads of silicone grease and the rocket nozzle. With the gun assembled it seems to shoot well again other than the fact that it only shoots auto with the selector in the full auto and semi. I really don't enjoy the drama that follows every time I open and aeg gearbox. 😔 I'll have to open it up again to see what is preventing it from semi fire.

Thanks for the tips! With the nozzle extended I can't get any compression in the cylinder. I ordered a new nozzle of the same length and a new cylinder head just to be safe. I noticed some wear on the nozzle of the cylinder head and a difference in external diameter from 5.2mm nearer the tip but not at the very end and 5.3mm in the middle. I'll report back once the new parts are installed.

Hi, During the last skirmishing session my CM045 seemed to lose considerable power. I opened it up and found the cylinder head was worn out. Replaced it and the nozzle and it works great now.

Bought this last year used. It fires full auto only. The trigger mechanism has been replaced by a push button which under normal operation works just like the normal trigger as the trigger pushes on the button. I have added a "safety" switch on the back of the handle, changed the connections to deans and added a 400mah 7.4v lipo. It comes with the original high cap mag. When last chronoed it was shooting at around 270fps on 0.20g with no hop. I skirmished it twice as a side weapon to my sniper and it worked well enough. Postage is included in the asking price. Short video of it shooting

  14. I bought a used Novritsch SSE18 AEP with a 7.4V 550mah battery. With a battery fully charged it shoots single and auto as expected when tested indoors. Storing the pistol in the shed where the temp is in the low 2-10 degrees Celsius if I try to shoot on single it doesn't seem to have the power to compress the spring and complete a cycle. On auto it takes over a second to complete the first cycle but then it shoots OK while the trigger is pressed. If I keep it indoors it seems to have no problems. I took it skirmishing at the weekend and found I couldn't depend on it to shoot. Temperature ranged from 1-8 degrees Celsius through the day. I bought it as my gas pistols are very unreliable in the winter and hoped an AEP wouldn't suffer from the cold. Do all AEPs behave like this or is the battery faulty?
  15. The Cyma CM045 I love mine to bits. It's realy well made. Here it is with mismatched wooden grips. Thanks for the opportunity to show her 🙂 Snappy trigger response in semi making it decent for CQB with only a 7.4v lipo. I've just added a mosfet to mine and on an 11.1v lipo and no other mods it's a monster on auto as well as semi.
  16. I did that in the end, I popped in a 500mah lipo.
  17. I installed the coiled 2 core 0.75mm cable and although I can now hear the motor labouring to turn it doesn't quite manage to compress the spring. 1mm core might be the minimum.
  18. The one that didn't work was definitely not 0.75. It looked like it didn't have more wire strands than a signal cable on a mosfet and a fabric string intertwined.
  19. Do you have a photo of what the end result looks like?
  20. I ordered a £10 coiled cable with 2 cores of 0.75mm diameter each. Will provide an update on how it works once I install it.
  21. I've wired a mosfet in the grip of my JG V61 and wanted to run it with a lipo stored in a pouch by connecting it through a coiled cable. I bought a coiled shaver charging cable, wired it with deans and connected it to the 7.4V lipo battery and mosfet. The gun fires fine when the battery is connected directly to the mosfet but it doesn't fire when connected through the coiled cable. I checked the positive and negatives are soldered the right way. I can feel the coiled cable getting very hot and suspect the few wispy strands of wires are too thin to carry the 20-30 Amp rating of the battery. Trouble is that going by this I would need a 2.5mm core cable to carry 20-30 amps https://www.energy-solutions.co.uk/technical-information and I can't seem to find reasonably priced coiled cables that thick. I think the default cabling in most AEGs is 18AWG which is 0.75mm square and 16AWG is 1.5mm. What coiled cables is everyone else using that work?
  22. Any takers for a used nearly stock SSG10 A1 for a bargain £400? Why buy new? https://prefired.co.uk/ads/novritsch-ssg10-a1-with-scope-used-twice/

"never use soldering gun" how are the wires connected?
  24. In store but 25 or 35amps at Halfords. https://www.halfords.com/tools/fuses-electricals-and-fixings/fuses/halfords-assorted-glass-fuses-10%2F15%2F25%2F35-amp-hfs148-209510.html?istCompanyId=b8708c57-7a02-4cf6-b2c0-dc36b54a327e&istFeedId=367c5610-f937-4c81-8609-f84582324cd6&istItemId=pqrlm&istBid=t&_$ja=tsid:|cid:11902546034|agid:113456751337|tid:pla-328104632809|crid:487900199209|nw:u|rnd:3353188291871308197|dvc:m|adp:|mt:|loc:9044985&gclid=CjwKCAiA8bqOBhANEiwA-sIlN2rkA2DSxHXyCXViNkbSHqdUfH2PdSGzGX51pm_dOUSZxuV2FMYEARoCfa0QAvD_BwE Plenty online if it has to be 30amps https://www.amazon.co.uk/Glass-Fuse-Classic-Length-Electronic/dp/B073HJCP59
  25. Great advice, I really wanted a new one from Taiwangun but when I found this one I thought I'd chance it. I doubt it's worth spending £30+ for a mosfet when a new fully working V61 costs £55.
