  1. Yeah, I think having AI previously using the same venue - I'd like to think they would iron out or attempt to address some of the bad points. Might be worth it...
  2. Having never previously bothered about the AI500, I thought I might try it this time round... Anyone care to share their previous experiences and why they thought it was so bad?
  3. I think I saw Southcoast CQB down near Bournemouth put one on last year.
  4. I'm also into my watches and I can't not wear one, even for airsoft, just feels weird - so I just wear a very old Timex Expedition that I don't mind it getting beaten up further. I'd like to wear my Victorinox INOX, as that's literally bomb proof and more than fit for purpose, but don't want to fuck that up, weird isn't it haha. So maybe another G-Shock, or the good ol' F91W if you're into your digitals. Or, a G10 military watch, if you want the military aesthetic with some genuine military background - MWC will do you a solid example for about £70 Oh and stick it on a NATO!
  5. Appreciate the effort to type that, nice review. It's on my list of new sites to visit, sooner rather than later as I suspect it won't be around for many years.
  6. I've attended a few pistol drill/CQB "courses" when FCS were about at in Lewisham, many years ago now. If anything, it was a laugh!
  7. Don't forget the Maglite!
  8. Done it a few times, and you've usually got to be in one of two camps... 1) Sneaky, low and slow approach. 2) Pistol and a fuck-tonne of pyro, running and screaming and dying painfully. Rinse and repeat hah.
  9. Just checking in to follow this thread, I'd like to know also!
  10. Reminds me of a day at Urban Assault (RIP that site!) There was one building where most of our team were pouring through the windows and getting shot to shit. I just used to front door and casually strolled in.
  11. Looking for pistol/shotgun games in the South East, anyone know of any?

They're quite few and far between.  A local site ran one and it wasn't spoken of afterwards, not a single Facebook promo picture. :(

Yeah, this is what i'm quickly finding out ? There used to be quite a few back in the day and they were a good laugh.

Agreed, it's a great leveller.  But people want to use their box-mag ARP-9s, sadly.

  12. I'm quite the opposite right now, having returned to airsoft after a good number of years I feel refreshed and ready to shoot shit! However, I can completely acknowledge what it feels like to burn out on airsoft. I simply had other interests that I wanted to sink money into. For me it was cars, motorsport and trackdays. I think it's one of the few things that rivals airsoft in cost! ? As others have said - maybe it's time to refresh and minimise your kit back to basics. Or, like what I did, sell off the majority and keep the basics - knowing you'll be back at some point in time.
  13. Trust me, my 3rd post and it's already car related.. '02 Impreza WRX Bugeye, relatively standard as I've only owner her for coming up to 7 months, I had an '03 Blobeye before this one.. And up to date with a recent Zunsport grill install -
