thought i would just share a few pics of my old(ish) two tone UMP 'sportsline'

Pretty simple stuff with switching in a new threaded for the silencer and repainting the receiver but what a world of difference it makes to this gun. Wouldn't believe it was the same one !

Just found this vid which is more than helpful and i think it answers all my questions. correct me if im wrong but the 'competition series' is essential what we call the sportsline ?

[Re-paint ABS Plastic on Receiver]

Hi guys

 

Ive been looking to repaint the receiver on my UMP as the ABS polymer plastic is starting to look a bit work and tired now. Ive never done this before and am looking for some advice on the best paint and way of doing this without spoiling the look of the gun and the markings on the receiver.

Hi guys

 

I've got the Umarex H&K UMP sportsline edition and was looking for a silencer to fit to the gun purely for cosmetic reasons and to add a bit of range, i was just wondering how easy it is to change out the barrell for this gun and fit an after market barrell and silencer? Has anyone done this before ? i hope so as umarex don't produce a silencer compatible for this gun as standard, so it will have to be some work to change it to accomodate an aftermarket silencer and barrell.
