  1. Placed the order before I read the replies. I ended up just buying one and I'll pick a better one up later one, but for now will this work fine? Also I remember reading somewhere that wall chargers are no good, is this true? Zero One 8.4v 2200mAh NiMH High Performance Battery for Crane Stocks
  2. Would the zero one 8.4v nunchuck style battery for crane stocks be ok? Sorry on my phone and struggling to add the link. And for charging it how is this? A2 Pro Compact NiMH Fast/Trickle Charger with Dual Plug Sorry for all the questions!
  3. So I'm thinking just keep the gun cometely stock and invest in a decent battery x2 (1 as a spare) in that case. If anyone could link me to a good battery that will fit the gun and a charger, that would be much appreciated (preferably from zeroone). I'm thinking I can always upgrade a bit later anyway and from what I hear the gun will be absolutely fine as it comes out of the box. If it doesn't need the spring then I'd much rather get a spare battery or an extra mag or two for the money. Is this what you guys would suggest?
  4. Thanks for the reply at this time of the morning, that's definitely reinforced my choice. How about the spring choice mate? Keep it stock or not? What difference(s) do the springs actually make? I'm pretty sure it adds to the fps, but does it do anything else? Is the m100 spring a 'hardier' piece of kit that will last longer etc? Thanks
  5. Hello all, I'm new to airsoft and after a lot of reading I think I'm going to order my first gun today but I have a few questions I'd like answering first. I'm looking at buying a two-tone combat machine cm16 raider L from zero one. Now I've read that the combat machine range are pretty good starter guns for the money but would any of you guys advise against this particular gun/model? I'm looking for something that's good out of the box and will last a while. I also read about the Cyma ak's but I much prefer the m16/m4 varients, however which is better out of the box? I don't mind spending a little on upgrades so my first question would be if I'm ordering said gun from zeroone, should I keep the standard spring or get the m90/m100? I tried reading about this but couldn't find too much info, but I need the gun to be At or below 350fps. Should I add the m100 spring for the extra 35 pound? Also is there anything on this gun I should be looking to upgrade immediately? I know the paint jobs from zeroone aren't meant to be the best but will I have any issues spraying this gun once I'm ukara registered? That's all I can think of now, I just wanted some feedback before I pull the trigger as I want to do so ASAP as they have 15% off everything for Black Friday.
