    Anyone that's ordered RIFs from firesupport; does it have to go to your registered address like most retailers?

    I ask, as the website has a few paragraphs on it that seem a bit ambiguous.

    It says on their website "You cannot buy a gun using someone else details, the order name, order billing post code and name from the player number lookup on ukara must match, we will ship to any delivery address."

    The first part is pretty self-explanatory, but saying "we will ship to any delivery address" seems like it's a possibility.

    Being at work during the week would mean missing the delivery, unless it's possible for a neighbour to take it in, but if it can be delivered to work or family that would be helpful; but seemingly against how I always thought it would work when RIFs are involved.

    With them being closed until later in the week, I can't just ask them now, so I thought I'd seek experience from others who've used them.

    All my experience with FS has been for parts and accessories, never full guns.

    Real shame. I only went there for events (so not games from HQ themselves) and only one of them didn't use the full site - easily the best in the UK and filled the gap left by camp sparta. Seems the only non-MOD large-ish urban site left is anzio (which I've not been but doesn't look as big as either sparta or HQ).

    Are they specifically trained to not use doorbells, or do they just not understand what they are?

    Yes but knocking with the strength of an arthritic gnat takes the same amount of time as just pressing the doorbell that can be heard anywhere throughout the house.

    And as chance would have it, he delivered it just as I was writing this! Thankfully it was small enough to fit through the letterbox so no knocking needed for once! ?

    Ordered some internals for my latest project, not expecting to see them until after Christmas, when they arrived about 15 minutes ago!

    Now, the postman who's seemingly unable to work a doorbell is another matter!

    Are WE Glock mags compatible between generations?

    Could I use a Gen5 mag in something that uses Gen 3 or 4?

    Been so long since I last owned anything Glock shaped I'm out of the loop!

    I have gen 3 WE glock 17s (several) and a WE gen5 Glock 19. The gen 3 mags will happily fit and feed in the gen 5 Glock 19 (but i obviously can't test the other way due to the glock 19 mags being too short to fit in a Glock 17). IIRC the only difference in the gen 5 glock mags for a WE is that they have mag release cutouts on both sides, as the gen 5 allows the mag release to be reversed for a left handed shooter.

    My depot is actually great for collections and opens late on certain days for those ending work at 5. Not having standard opening times nationwide seems a bit silly though

    It needs to exist because removing a competitor only serves to raise prices even higher. Pipe dream but it should be majority nationalised again where the government works on modernising it but enough of my political thoughts.

    Heads up to any fellow glasses wearers, but I recently tried ReglazeMySpecs for the first time, after finding an old thread about them on here.

    I ordered on the Sunday, sent off my old inserts on the Monday, and received them back and finished on the Friday, all for under £17!

    Can't recommend them enough, and a much cheaper alternative to Specsavers. ?

    I don't usually sell but had 2 items buyers were looking for & thought I was reasonable with the prices then nothing, don't mind that so much tbh but offered someone their asking price for an item and then bugger all communication.

    It's a Tercel, which I think is just another rebranding of the Jing Gong or Both Elephant.

    I don't think it's the brand itself necessarily, as I had one about ten years ago for a while and had no problems.

    I think it's just age, it'd been sat in storage for a while according to the advert.

    I wouldn't even have needed to open it up, but it was doing over 380fps when I got it. ??

    Finally got around to opening up my Type 89 for a downgrade & bucking change, as well as greasing the (bone dry) gears and a new piston o-ring.

    Bought it a few weeks ago and It was a little too spicy unfortunately. ?

    I tried an M100 first, and that was way *way* over 1.13J, but thankfully one from my random bag of lower-powered springs was ok, and it's sitting about 0.9J now, so ready to game for next week.

    Version 8 gearbox wasn't as bad to work on as I remember it being, I just need to rewire it now.
