    Rather than getting a suppressor to cover the extra barrel length, I'd probably recommend just getting a shorter inner barrel and flash hider. The one that's in it currently looks massive, and I don't know if it'll be too long for the cylinder volume that's in it.

    Are non-bio BBs actually any better?

    How long do they tend to last nowadays? I've considered buying bios, if only for the occasional site that requires them. But I go through ammo so infrequently I'd be concerned about it sitting open and unused for months and then coming back to it.

    Without tools, then I think you still can, providing you lack sausage fingers, but it's definitely more of a challenge. I've been using a small screwdriver just to make it easier, as Zarrin says.

    I've had the same thought as you, and decided to take the plunge. I installed it into one of the Raven AK74s which have a similar, if not directly copied design from the later CYMA AK models. It was a little tight compared to the lonex Hop unit I had in previously but it did fit and feed fine...

    Just being out in the Rain isn't going to damage your AEGs, just keep the barrel pointed downwards so no rain gets inside, and make sure to dry it off at the end of the day.
