    Unfortunately, the G&P ones are designed for the Marui style M14s, I don't know how feasible it'd be to fit one to a G&G version.

    Depends on the time of year & weather, but 'd go probably less than that Tbh. On green gas most of my maruis have been 290ish fps; so 0.8 or under. On 144, I'd have thought closer to 250ish, or around 0.6J.

    The standard hop unit is AEG though, no? You have to specifically buy the VSR/GBB hop unit to use anything else. Pictures below: 1-3 are the stock hop units & barrel, with #4 being the GBB/VSR style hop unit.

    38RPS is more than enough. There's no need to go further into wankergun™ territory. By what you've said, you've done everything you physically can do with your gun. If you feel you're still lacking even now, then the issue is likely to be behind the trigger and not inside the gun.
