    Worth the investment 100%, buy the new PRO shells if youre using a 3rd party launcher (like an EGLM, M203, or Madbull launcher for example), and buy alot of dummy projectiles before you star messing with any pyro rounds... i cannot stress it enough, you will need to practise your accuracy and placement of shots until your placements are dead on. No-one wants to be that guy that gets tag rounds banned from all sites because they shot a pyro round or smoke round at someone and caused burn (or worse) injuries!

    yeah sorry was talking about AEG recoil, dont want the hassle that seems to come with a GBBR. Had a go with a friends TM 416d and was really impressed , certainly adds a bit more fun to a traditional AEG. I think the secondhand market may be more sensible than buying new

    What about Plastikote @GearTech?

    It's easy to get hold of (hobby craft etc) and is resilient.

    Never used it for airsoft guns though, so I dunno...

    Dont use plastikote... its sh*t.

    Halfords do their own camo range and on the same shelf (usually) have a range of greys as well (matt or satin finish)

    Most of the paint I use is Halfords. I've only found a very light grey or a dark grey that is almost black.

    Last time I asked my local spray shop a custom aerosol would be about £15

    So last year I did a few 'Airsoft tour' weekends trying different sites around the country. This included Anzio, RAF Upwood (urban assault) & The Gaol . Apart from the 3 sites I play on within Norfolk on a regular basis. What other sites would you say are 'must visit'? An Airsoft bucket list if you will .....

    Had one for awhile, liked it well enough. Mag can be kinda awkward to hold and wind simultaniously, and its really easy to accidentally eject the mag, which, if it hits the ground hard, will pop open and send 2000 BBs flying like a low power scatter grenade.

    More of a party piece/collectors gun than something that is practically skirmish able then ? Also is the stock wood or plastic ? As I'd want to weather the gun to make it look more authentic

    Its wood, but not great wood. And I used mine for a fair few games. The EBB is really clunky, makes a great sound

    Anyone have any direct contact with Airsoft World ? They've had my scorpion Evo in for repairs now without any reply ? Every time I try to contact them I get an automated system

    I have had issues with communication with them in the past, I have found ringing them is best as it actually gets a response

    Max single file size is 2mb - many phone cameras easily exceed that.

    Use imgur.com then paste the link or downscale your photos (if that's reasonably easy).

    Remember, the forums have to effectively host your image file until they get pruned or archived (and I think archiving is turned off on here), so it does all build up over time into a lot of disk space.

    That's why I try to keep to using external image hosts. Helps the forum and I can usually upload...
