    I'd say the stoner, although thanks to airsoft a drum mag in the l86 will net the same results.

    It all depends on which one feels right for you personally I use a stoner63 it's fantastic but at the same time I wish I had never got rid of L86 LSW  but as Asomodia has said the L86 may not be the right choice for MILSIM so it will depend on two factors which one you like best and your intend use I.E skirmish or MILSIM

    Can anyone suggest internal upgrades for turning an M4 into an LMG platform? Using the A&K CASV, and im unsure if it's got a high torque motor, or if i need to upgrade my gearset or install a mosfet?

    @AshOnSnow because you can only hear piston hitting cylinder head and not so much of the gears whiny noise, i always shim my guns to best of my ability, even my KWA RM4 recoil gun is shimmed perfectly only hear piston hitting the cylinder head and ofc the recoil shock.

    Dug out my M4 after a year of not using it, charged battery and doesn't fire? Argh balls  :(

    Haven't really opened it that far to check. bit of a noob in AEG repairs. Will check tomorrow though

    Not much of a repair - where the battery connects, just make sure one of the wires hasn't popped out of the little plug on the gun

    Ohh you mean the soldered connectors? Yeah they're fine. Even tested the battery in another gun and it works, so it's definitely somet to do with the gun itself.

    Cracked my CASV out of it's spazzyness on full auto :D all it took was to sh*t brix when i heard a slight CRACK when firing it

    basically somet with the trigger contacts or the selector plate, but every time i went into full auto, it just wouldnt stop, which then passed over to semi until you took the battery out. had it on semi for my skirmish last saturday, took it out yesterday to clean the barrel and whatnot, test fired, tested on auto (which spazzed), disconnected, then just heard a slight crack. the look of horror on mine and my brothers face. reconnected, test fired and full auto is all good.

    My selector plate was a little stiff, it seems there was some casting/seams on the plastic which wore down pretty quick :)

    I was hoping that wernt the case with the trigger contacts haha; and Kurtz yeah it's still shooting normally now. messing around with it last night i kinda sorted it with pulling the trigger alot so it settles in with the selector plate (??). The only issue now is that when i switch from semi to auto it doesnt stop firing.

    Saying that, we (me and my bro) only noticed all this when we tried switching it to deans last night. The wiring is also silver plated so could it be somethi...

    somehow the cutter's I was using seemed to touch the end of connector I was cutting shorter....

    both TWG & GF may take a day or two on your very 1st order. Well they both took a while to I suppose run a quick check or verification, something in case of a PayPal charge back bollox. After this all orders will go through like $hit off a shovel
