    Ordered a set of 6 mws mags from japan and just been informed customs have seized them as dangerous goods. Luckily got a full refund but what the hell?

    Ive not actually got a notice from customs or anything yet. If I get one I will appeal it. The tracking just shows it as having been sitting in a fedex facility for a week and when I asked the seller they just said "Siezed as dangerous goods" and sent me a refund.

    Give FedEx a call. They'll have someone you can actually speak to. There's no reason for them to be classified as dangerous foodsy and seized.

    Sadly this happens occasionally - not because they think that the mags are real and can hold rounds - but more likely cos of the gas nature of them.  This is why all gas mags should be sent with the valves removed.

    Anyone else having speed issues with the site? On mobile it loads in seconds but on desktop its taking a good minute to load a page. It only seems to be this site too.

    So I know Ares guns are bad but I thought to myself "surely. even they cant fuck up a handguard" so I got one of their octa arms mlok ones off their website..... they sent me the wrong length.... >_> ffs Ares....

    @The_Lord_Poncho could it be they're two different threads?  

    I've got a contact in China who makes rails but finding hard to sell since selling via stores like Aliexpress is now forbidden.  I was thinking about offering to get them drop-shipped.  Not sure if worth the time and effort, are people still looking at buying different rails?

    yes that's the place, I did speak to the guy and he said he's be up to trying out some type of drop-shipping with the handguards.  I'm speaking with him tomorrow.  Will need to work out the shipping times etc but it could be a good way of getting these into the UK.

    Does anyone else get a bit anxious about having a  lot of money invested in one gun? 

    I recently picked up a real sword svd and it is a lovely gun. But im running into the same issue I did when I first picked up a tm recoil. It just feels like a lot of money to have in one place and Im not sure it feels like its worth it. At least I dont have the worries about breaking it like I did with the tm.

    but yeah. having a hard time justifying it in my mind especially when there are other more practical things I want for my work.

    I agree with what's been said already tbh but...

    I new a chap who's pension was largely made up of rare pistols that he and his father had collected.   They were handed in for a pittance after the pistol ban.   He lost scores of thousands.  I sometimes think of all the rifles, scopes etc that I have and wonder if I shouldn't sell it all whilst its still legal/useful.  

    Every cat shot with an air rifle, pillock with an airsoft pistol in public etc is another nail in shootings sports coffin if we don't organise ourselves properly.  

    Then again...  perhaps we ought to make hay while the sun shines.   You only live once after all.   Sod it, I'll order a Real Sword AK, a Rigby Highlander and a brace of Purdeys in the morning.   The I'll pay someone else to tell the Mrs...

    Years ago I bought myself a korg A3 guitar pedal board.it was 130 pounds.I agonised for weeks should I,shouldn't I,do I need it,can I justify having it?

    Eventually I went to guitar shop and purchased it.Couldn’t sleep that night through feeling guilty.After all that money could have bought a lot of food.

    Next day I took it back for refund.Still didn't feel better cause I didn't have what I wanted. 

    I realised after that I shouldn't feel guilty because I worked and I should be able to have something I wanted otherwise whats the point?

    And in reality nobody went hungry. Lol

    Funnily enough, I bought the lad a Donner pedal the other day so his Granddad's Strat sounds like Toni Iommi's guitar on Sabbath's first four albums.   He's only young once.  Agreed to pay for teching his VSR clone too.  

    FFS I insist on teaching him to box, he's due a few breaks...

    Got a scar l. Bought it second hand with a broken blowback unit and 7 midcaps. Fixed it all up now and it cost a lot less than it would have normally XD

    Not if you do the correct ritual, sacrifice a g&g rifle to it and only put stock tm parts back in XD

    so I just did a swap on the condition that the other person sent their rifle first. I have recieved it but its buggered. It fires 2 shots at 65fps and then jams every time I load it. Not really sure what to do.

    First impression (obviously only from having read your side of things) he knew it was bollox’ed , he was trying his luck , needs to be sent back AT his expense , once returned have nothing more to do with it or him .

    im sorry but when the other person starts with the excuses when you’ve ‘discover’ a problem you know there full of it and trying to rip you off . You’d NEVER sell a gun listed as in full working order if you haven’t made sure it’s all good to go before sending ,  “oh it’s been in storage for XYZ period of time” or “oh someone serviced it just before I sent it” ? Utter rubbish they knew end off .

    tbh i kind of take it as a default that any gun i buy secondhand is gonna need some work.

    but then any gun i buy brand new needs work as well

    come to think of it, i've never shot the same gun twice :P

    Those Scars aren't great though. One of the flimsiest Selector switch designs ever which are very difficult to find replacements for. Also it uses the VFC Style midcaps. Even if you can find them in stock, they are usually around £60 for 3.

    just opened up my brand new jg g3 to do a quick spring swap and my god I must have won the qc lottery some how. This is the most perfectly shimmed stock gearbox I have ever seen and all the corners are already radiused. It all looks perfect.

    so I just bought a we cheetah pistol from someone and ive just found out the magazine is damaged causing the gun to not feed. Ive tried to contact the seller but he hasnt been online since monday. I dont feel like he is a scammer as the issue was very easy to miss but Im not sure what to do considering I cant contact him.

    Just got permission from kent police to build a mortar/howitzer for airsoft which uses 12 gauge blanks to propel the shell. Now to start designing =D

    So a while ago I  bought a g&g scar broken and found the person had upgraded everything except the piston which stripped. Recently I discovered it shoots at 45 rounds per second on an 11.1 lipo or more like 25 on a 7.4. im just wondering why the hell someone would build this.
