I'm using IMGUR, I create a private post and then copypasta the [-IMG-] bracketed links :)

Used to do it for other forums too

anybody super well versed in the uk laws?

    A
    AK47frizzle
Nah it's just manufacturing laws. Sru and mk23 kits are allowed to exist because the gun functions fine without them. But what about a conversion kit which takes the guns internals and puts them in another body? Not so sure.

What do you mean by "manufacturing laws" - things that might be compatible with real firearms?

Ah I see. I heard from some people that making central parts of a replica is not allowed so I got confused. Ye I guess that makes sense with the whole defense thing. First time i've properly read the legislation ahah

Anybody happen to have a spare working V3 that I could borrow?

    Sitting Duck
Could probably knock something up but doubt this side of weekend

    Including motor ???

Motor cage could be problem though might have an AK one spare but need to check

What's it for - nozzle length, cylinder port & bits n bobs like selector plate/trigger etc...

It's the selector/linkage might be an issue to find all the bits straight away for specific gun type

If AK - is a normal short 19.7 nozzle or longer used in say E&L's perhaps

I could knock something up, sort of JG SIG base box, with some bastard Cyma AK trigger & bits or something stuff that should work OK

Full complete AK, with motor etc ??? or just box

(AK selector stuff I'm presuming or don't matter)

for what barrel length as SIG cylinder is for 250/260mm

Gis a bit more info exactly what ya after if poss maybe

Im thinking of just shelling out for bits now since Im going to down the line anyway. But thanks.

I'm just gonna ignore people who ask "what's your lowest price?" from now on. Rustles thy jimmies to the highest nth degree.

As with vehicle sales, I thank them for their interest and say that the lowest price is the one clearly displayed in the advert.

Bear in mind that "Alice" can virtually haggle you down to £X, then "Bob" (who is definitely not Alice) rocks up later and starts trying to haggle downwards again from there, somehow mysteriously knowing that you'll accept £X as a worst case.

i should stop using that phrase then LOL

whenver i use it, i never mean it in a rude way, the opposite actually, trying to skip all the haggling bollocks.

What i find it hard to fathom is how they always, and i mean always want to pay no postage.  if i wanted £10 less for the gun, i would price it as such.  its not like normal retailers do free postage (admitantly, some do over a set price, of which this is not).  maybe i should advertise things £15 more than what i would normally ask, so people feel they have won when all they did was haggle down to what i originally would price it.

Thing is though, i am not desperate for money that i want the pennies they seem to want to pay, and owning a 3 bed house means i am not lacking for space either.  haggling for the sake of it only works if the seller is desperate

Damn the warrior universal holster can even hold a desert eagle. I like this thing.

I borrow a friend's ssg24 today and I have to admit... it is pretty fun outranging someone who is shooting back at you 70m away

On sunday, almost half the enemy team were all Snipers, made for some interesting times trying to defeat them...

Anyone know of any wingun style gbb pistols with hop? The g19x was super fucking cool but lack of hop means it's going back.

I can tell you from my experience, i'd much rather have that wingun g19x than any traditional gbb. This wingun internal design kicks super hard despite being half blowback, as well as being uber loud (my fav part). And being half blowback, the co2 easily lasts 100 shots as i've tested and easily works in the cold. It does have drawbacks: the trigger is long; you have to reset the entire way for each shot; 14 rounds per mag. But my biggest problem is that there is no hop. Well, there is but it's the tiniest nub whose purpose is to prevent the bb from rolling out the barrel. So I want one that has hop. I've found that the asg cz75d compact supposedly has, but the blowback model is nowhere to be found anymore...

Oh and also, these guns are essentially NBB pistols with an artificial blowback. The slide action isn't necessary for the gun to function, only to stop the gun from shooting when it's empty.

army r501 vs co2 mags... how long will it last I wonder

And if run on green gas/used as a body kit for TM internals?

    A
    AK47frizzle
I only used green gas. The hammer spring isn't strong enough to strike the co2 mags. The metal started warping badly at the hammer after a few mags. Don't bother. I know it looks really cool. But that thing will shatter sooner or later.

Ouch. Looks like it's the £400 body kit option then. Dammit.

Last exam tomorrow and then it's time to make some guns on the 3d printer :DDD

Just finished it. Fluids and thermodynamics. Was a lot easier than expected.

And ye, I know. I use fusion360 to make stuff.

Good bit of Software. I used Inventor but I haven't done anything with my 3D printer for a while. I must dust it off and start tinkering again.

What course are you doing with Fluids and Thermodynamics? Automotive related?

    A
    AK47frizzle
Mechanical engineering. Fluids and thermodynamics were the exam topics today. Before that was maths, and before that was strengths and dynamics.

Hmmm, ye. Arcturus really isn't that great. I think i'll invest in something from kulatac. Need something with great externals.

People who ask for lowest price right off the bat deserve a place in hell.

but then people complain that your not negotiating with them and won't buy on principle. People like to "get a deal" i.e pay less than the price tag shows to the "public"

    A
    AK47frizzle
I counter it with "Well, what do you want to pay for it?". Normally, it goes ok after that.

Years ago it was always "will you take X?", with X being a small percentage less than the asked price, that was fine, happy with that, always made for good transactions.

This "what  will you take?" is annoying af.  If I wanted to take less than the price I've advertised, I'd have advertised at a lower price initially to expedite the sale.  The quoted price is what I would like to get, if you want to make an offer I can consider it and if it's reasonable more than likely accept it.

Omfg I have the power to print 3d kits for guns. Making an mk23 dmr.
