    well there's really only 2 things i can put down that a bolty will do that my current stock can't:

    quietness- i do miss the hpa silence some times

    works in winter- i do have aeg's, but the dragonuv does not like the cold

    i'll maybe mull it over a while, have a krink build planned atm so that should keep my mind occupied and bank balance low for a while.

    I recently picked up a VSR to replace the SRS I sold (because there aren't enough good woodland sites local to me to justify having such an expensive bolty). I'd find it hard to not have at least one bolty on deck. It'll never be as quiet as the SRS was, but it was also about a 3rd of the price of the SRS (at least, how I had my SRS set up).

    A Krink project involving some certain repro Zenitco furniture per chance? Words cannot describe how much I regret selling on the contents of that Gunfire order. Ohh the nightmare I'm having obtaining it all again ??‍♂️

    oh yeah that was you i bought that handguard set off.

    yes it does involve those, and yes it really has taken me this long to get around to it :P

    have it setup nicely with a 2dp and plan is imma hang that monster of a pbs4 on the end and run tracers in daylight like a madman.....

    plans are mainly internal, gonna do a dsg build for no other reason than i'm bored and i've never seriously tried putting one together before.

    This is no guarantee of my success so i reccommend relocation to an extrasolar location just to be sure.

    it was a pair of them jumped me while i was in bed last night, one regular sized and one wannabe tarantula.

    yeah i'd be looking primarily at the russian config.

    i am intriqued by the weird thumb-hold grip they do the short underfolder aims monstrousity they do too.

    my main thinking is i have the jg which is a great shooter but the externals have seen better days and i don't trust the gas block to hang the ludicrously heavy pbs4 i have on it.

    30k in the akm, was worried might be too fast but seems to be about right.

    now back in the cupboard for the next year.....

    as for the style, i'm still not sure, i kind of want to find a barrel clamp to run the 2dp as i'd rather run the normal forend than the current rail+afg combo that's on there atm.

    fortunately i'm hopefully redeeming myself with the optics- got a 1p67 on order should keep both camps happy......

    @Adolf Hamster I have heard of many reports of some of internals being made of cheese from the Russian FB groups. Finish is poor, O Rings on the Mag are too thick which meant it was hard to fill with gas.  Doesn't work in anything below 10 degrees. The parts that you think should be steel are not. This is the opinion of more then just one person as well! Multiple people!

    yeah, looked up a review from arnies and seems to be there are some issues, but probably not insurmountable. the o-ring on the bbu was too tight but that's good in terms of being a fixable issue.

    i'm not a very heavy pistol user anyway so if if i can stuff a ml autobot in there and get a mags worth of .32's downrange i'm happy enough.

    Knocker valve for their blowback makarov.

    Was trying to figure out why mine kept leaking and realised it had somehow caved in at the front.

    Figured if imma try and sell it better to have it as working (well, "worked last time i tried to fire it")

    Only place ive found even has it listed is begadi and its out of stock :(

    Nah, totally different mechs.

    The kwc is basically a 4.5mm co2 airgun conversion which normally comes stupid hot out of the box (mine was downgraded by the forum member i bought it off). Its not even the same as other kwc valves (particularly the 1911 which is the only kwc valve you can find easily)

    Only bought it as a winter gun to stand in for the WE.

    Anyone have issues with noveske style amps with 24mm thread? Bought one recently didnt come with a 14mm adapter and it aint fitting the jg/cyma/lct ones i've tried.

    this one came from davescustom airsoft, it wouldn't even start on the lct adapter and barely went half a turn on the jg/cyma ones.

    imma try me local brick and mortar see if i can find a random adapter, if not looks like i'll have to run the pbs4 this weekend (me left arm is gonna hate me :P  )

    Yeah you're probably right, it is quite a 'load bearing' part, especially at the point at which the clutch essentially disengages when the magazine is full. Having said that, in this design you probably want these replaceable weak points to be able to break, so that you can easily and functionally replace them when need be.

    Been thinking about purchasing a 3d printer actually, not really looked into it in much detail or know where to start and at what kinda price point.

    tbf that is what the slipper clutch is for, reckon i had mine just set too tight.

    tbh my experience with the home 3d printers is especially the pla stuff isn't the greatest, but then i'm looking at it compared to the proper industrial grade stuff.

    Right, so my brother works at a place which used to be the UKs biggest rapid prototyping / industrial scale 3d printing labs...  technically not anymore as they have been taken over by Siemens, so I guess their German now ?.
    They can print with powders of pretty much any material you want, both metals and polymers. Big massive rapid prototypers half the size of rooms. So yeah anything I suggest to him, he throws some elitist shade at  :lol: .

    I know that they aren't unweildy ;)  My 74u is actually pretty balanced despite being made of granite or something.

    It's just that adding 800 grams right on the tip would make it really unbalanced.

    it's not so bad, had a pretty heavy can on my e&l 74u.

    this is going to be a situational thing though, for night games etc.

    although granted it does make a stronger argument for getting a 105 over a 74m :P
