Medical advice/help.

Brother .i have chronic arthritis in both knees and only partia cartilage in them .they hurt like buggery ALL the time .
Sometimes I do manage to go shooting .sttap my knees up .take my tramadol and carry my lightest gun and kit . When the whistle blows every one runs off toward the battle but I gently walk being very careful of my feet placing so not to trip .after the day I have a hot bathe with plenty of Eason salts .and a large glass of rum lol

It can be done .take hi ga easy and let ur body decide if u want to play every game .this is what i do

Be safe
It is amazing how may ‘mature’ or knackered shooters there are out there …let the younglings do all the running and die quickly and us more senior shooters offer the more skilled second wave lol

Hey what can I say... a superb plethora of helpful responses, I'm flabergasted by the amount of helpful replies ,I didn't expect this TBH.
I'm currently taking Nepofam a pain relief only tablet after Naproxen had run it's course .I wear knee supports until they become uncomfortable.
I have a friend who excels in do's and dont's with tablets, he's suffered from " night terrors" himself and has a mad history with tabs. I'm not a massive fan of medication but if they work I will use them. Nefopam is a medication that loses it's "power" after time (can't recall what they call it), I can vouch for that because when I started using them they were great, apparently they are the strongest over the counter pain relief and expensive ,they stopped me having them until I kicked up as Berkshire Health authourity won't fund them. TBH I expected a quick fix for my knees but it looks like pain management for the time being.
I can't resist being at the front during games, showing new players what to do rather than be that player leading from the rear, I'm very vocal when I play...but it looks like a change of play style is in need. I've sourced a replacement weapon off a friend who doesn't play much.
THANK YOU ALL.
