Lambda/DCA GPMG

Lambda have had 3 years to get this going.
Yes they provided a prototype, which although externally was good quality, was still incomplete. The internals were intermittent and was a right faff to get working. Which then failed all together and fell apart. The top magazine feature didn't work/wasnt ready. Effectively, lambda had only sent a half finished prototype that wasnt in anway fit for purpose, still equates to poor quality.
So yes.... it is incomplete... when they state that wasn't the case.

And financial demands.....
so DCA had paid for the set up cost up front.
Yes there were some hick ups lambda end. And Dave added more money.
But as time went on, and pre orders started getting cancelled, he couldn't keep plowing money into something that had no sign of being produced.
The time frames DCA kept giving, were lambdas very own time frames. Not the unrealistic ones they've made out DCA had set. But as time went on and the prototype sent was sub par. Yes he quite rightly either wanted a product or his money back. For an item that had a legal deadline drawn up by both parties lawyers, which was promised to be ready and off the shelf in under 2 years, yet still had no working prototype after 3....
You can't blame him for having enough.

In that 3 years, lambda have managed to design and manufacture both the ghm9 and a mp443
Pistol....
Yet can't even get one prototype ready. That was paid for upfront.

I'd be fuming too.

I find it funny that DCA claim the pre production model was low quality, but they thought it was good enough to put pictures and video all over their social media.

I've just explained that above!
Was nothing to do with externals as such.
Some bits weren't finished.

But was mainly all the insides. As Non of the internals worked correctly, was a mish mash of parts to get semi firing and not was designed, and the internal magazine feature was missing. Which was the whole point of the weapon.

I would also just like to add that I am in no way affiliated with DCA.

I have a vested interest in this gpmg.
As I have built one from scratch. I was asked to come in on it, and lias with lambda.
Giving them all my files, designs, measurements, production prosses and how to get around certain manufacturing obstacles.

Then was there when the prototype arrived.

So I'm not sticking up for Dave like a fan boy. I'm telling the truth as it's gone down. Regardless of who it Involves.
It could have been firesupport, the results would have been the same!

I think you might've missed my point and tbh I probably could've worded it better.

When the video and pics were posted originally it was to great fanfare, but to now claim it's a lump of crap seems a bit funny to me and sounds like a lot of sour grapes. A bit like when a bloke asks a woman out and gets rejected only to start calling her ugly. From what I've seen online of DCS's inability to take the slightest criticism I'd say it fits the pattern. Quite simply if it was incomplete then that should've been made clear.

Mind you, as I posted yesterday, lambda's post isn't exactly believable either

I didn't miss the point.
He is a business.
Of course he was going to make a fan fare.

For example.
You have all these pre orders.
A project that's well over it's due date. And you you've got the risk of guys pulling out of pre orders.
What would you do. Go tell all of them it's crap!... no, as that's not good business. You got to try making sure the project seems on course.
And when it still with in the next deadline you still hold out hope.

Forget that it's dave for a second.
But what was he supposed to do here?...
He had no idea lambda weren't going to deliver!.
And a business and pre orders to fulfil.
