Yeah not sure why really, but there we go! :ROFLMAO:

Good to see one finally getting released. Look at the various threads on guns you wished were made in airsoft and the Akaban would inevitably be there. Imagine it will be some internal mosfet to get the 2 shot burst. Also according to that link battery is a stick type arrangement. Possibly AK style above the gearbox.

Good for stalker loadouts I guess! Interestingly on the real one, that when switched to 2 burst mode - the two rounds are fired before the recoiling firing unit strikes rear buffer, so it fires a two‑round burst at very high cyclic rate so both rounds leave before the main recoil impulse. A very unusual rifle overall and yes, a bit of difference in the sea of M4s.

I don't know why people get so moist over the AN-94, they're ugly as sin.

i suspect, as with many such things, it's rendition in video games, where you most importantly rarely get a decent profile of the gun and don't have to actually lug the thing around, is our primary culprit for this.

it worked for me and my love for the tactical tuna aka the f2000 thanks to bad company 2. still do like it even though i kinda hated running in game even when i had it shooting decently.

Yeah, but it looks like an AK , drawn on an Etch-a-Sketch!

Looks like Stevie wonder drew it from Ray Charles' description of an AK-74.

Good point, could well be. I've wanted an AKS-74U ever since i first saw Goldeneye.

I've never played video games much on account of being crap at them, i have the hand-eye co-ordination of a blind amputee.

I have my MKIV Warfet set to double tap in my G&G M4! Bloody good setup TBH,.

It's good to see it coming in airsoft form. The real thing was intended as an AK74 replacement but suffered from a few issues including being expensive, complex internals (weird chain drive under the hood), went against Soviet/Russian doctrine for small arms (there's a reason the AK has full auto on the first fire selector position) and for me the weird 5 degree angle of the mag is a bit strange. Also coming in 1994 meant that Russia was probably never serious about replacing the AK74 due to money constraints.

It's different and will add to the growing selection of weird and wonderful airsoft models coming out this year which include the SVT 40, FG-42, SKS along with a bunch of new ways to fire an AEG including the KWA Ebolt, E&C E-bolt and Marui's E-volt.
