Description

Here’s my ASG Hera Arms CQR. Had this on pre-order and had it since launch however I have only managed to skirmish it twice since then and as I have too many RIFs this is falling victim to the cull!

The gun will come as standard internally; it shoots straight and close to hot on an 11.1 lipo! Externally the only thing I have changed is added an ASG flash hider/suppressor combo. I no longer have the original flash hider 🙁 The RIF itself is in immaculate condition. There is a small scratch on the suppressor.

This RIF retails for 350 brand new and it's in a like new condition; grab an Xmas bargain.

Below is the description from patrol base –

The Airsoft replica itself is constructed from a mixture of high quality alloys and polymers, with an Alloy Receiver, Handguard Outer Barrel and Internals, with a Polymer Stock, Magazine, Foregrip and Flip-up Iron Sights. The rifle features a high quality finish, with heavy duty materials leading to a highly detailed and realistic looking rifle. The rifle isn’t just a quality build, it also come fully trademarked with all the textual markings and logo shown on the real rifle for higher levels of realism.

Externally the weapon is based off a mil-spec variant of the AR-15, and then modified by attaching the modified CQR parts. The rifle is a 1:1 replica of its real steel counter part including all the modified which went into upgrading the rifle. The parts were modified for the AEG edition by ICS based on the origional CAD design files created by HERA ARMS to make them highly realistic and ensure the scale was the same.

The fixed Hera Arms CQR stock is very unique, with its P90 esque shape, this thumbhole stock is something rarely seen on an M4 and give the rifle a completely new feel and look. The stock is great for use with slings as it features a left and right QD sling loop mount points, as well as two stock sling bars for more traditional sling systems. The stock’s length can also be adjusted using stock spacers which allows you to customise the length of the weapon to the perfect required length. To work with an Airsoft AEG the origional design has also been modified to accept both batteries and the AEG’s motor with no effect on the overall look of the stock.

The Hera Arms CQR grip is something to behold. The grip features a unique shape which offers the user a variety of grip angles to allow for a range of comfortable and stable firing positions. The front of the grip is specially designed to be held with a thumb and finger grip, similar to a P90, which is extremely comfortable hold hold and gives you a strong grip on the weapon. The grip features multiple textured surfaces for extra grip, and is attached to the weapon via the rails 20mm RIS / RAS rail allowing it to be removed and refitted with ease. Another interesting feature is that the grip itself is actually produced by HERA Arms giving it a high quality finish comparible to the real thing.

The handguard is also based off the origional designs, and is a replica of CQR rail. The rail is a four point 20mm RIS / RAS rail which allows for 20mm attachments to be fixed to the handguard, the most common on the market, allowing for a wide range of aftermarket parts to be fitted and used. The top rail lines directly up with the top rail of the receiver creating a full length top rail allowing for the attachment of large sights and scopes as well as complicated setups like a holographic and magnifier. The left and right side of the handguard features a QD Sling loop mount point to allow for the easy attachment of slings, and when used with the stock’s QD points you can attach a range of two point slings to make the rifle easier to carry.

Hi

Have been using 11.1 lipo yes. It does sometime shoot hot with it though (seems to average around 340 - 355) so might be worth dropping to a lower power output. Gears all fine; never had any issues with it. In fact it should still be in warranty with JD airsoft as I purchased at release in March 2019.

Lovely looking guns. Are you including a battery along with the sale? If not can you describe the size or make and model that you use.

Hi.

No battery included. I use an Nuprol branded 11.1 crane lipo similar to https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/nuprol-11-1v-1450mah-25c-lipo-crane-battery . It's a tight fit so might be better off with a stick style.

Note that it shoots around 345 to 350 on .20 with the battery I have been using. I have had it turned down at some sites for crono at 351 which was annoying so maybe a lower power battery would suffice. That happened 1 out of the 3 times I used it.
