Description

Tokyo Marui Spas 12 with Octagon folding stock. I've done the mod so that the stock actually locks in position when extended. The stock is unmarked and the gun is in pretty good condition with a couple of scratches here and there, the worst of which are pictured. Selling as it's just too big for my Son to be able to use. Shooting at around 265fps on 0.25 so 296fps on 0.20 which is more than enough for cqb with its 3 inner barrels.

Price is inc of Parcelforce 48 and Paypal fees G&S.

I'll need your UKARA or similar for this too.

Ok lads, seems I was way off with the pricing of this RIF which I'd based on the previous sold one on the forum and ended up on Macks 😔. Price reduced accordingly.

So, out of the box the spring loaded locking pin supplied with the stock is too short to lock the stock in the extended postion, which is a bit of a design flaw to say the least. It kind of holds it but any pressure will cause it to fold, and nobody wants a floppy stock.
You'll need to disassemble the grip on the Spas to fit the stock. While you're in there remove about 1mm of material from the rear of the hole you'll be inserting the locking pin into. This allows the pin to protude further and engage with the stock better.
Something that's worth doing too is to tape the inside of the stock where the bolts attach it to the spas grip as the edges can be a little sharp and will scratch the gun with repeated use. You may even have to gently bend an edge up to stop it gouging a semi circle into the gun.
Finally thread lock is your friend here as the bolts will work loose.
Hope this helps👍

It sure does help it’s good insight for me since I’ve only started out a couple months ago proper and I bought one of these like last month or so? I wanted to get the stock but then wondered “wait, how does it actually go on without wrecking the gun”

so yeah it certainly helps, for the shell holder you have on the side is that just velcro under that or how is it held on, I’ve wanted to do something like that since I got mine so I don’t lose me shells

Personally I think the Spas12 looks class with the stock, probably my favourite airsoft gun as it's just so intimidating and kind of unusual, not just another M4/AK/SMG on the field.
Check out this installation video, at 1.18 you'll see where he inserts the pin. That's where to dremmel. Remove small amounts of material and test fit until you're happy.
