Aren't these semi auto? Thought 500 on .2's is way way above legal limit for semi auto

It's a springer, so not semi auto, therefore legal.

But there are some aeg variant Barretts about, that's a whole different story.

I thought the LEGAL limit for semi auto and bolt action rifs is 2.5j (approx 520fos with a .2g bb)

“Section 57A(4) sets the maximum permitted kinetic energy levels for airsoft guns at:

a) 1.3 joules if the weapon is capable of discharging two or more missiles successively without repeated pressure on the trigger, and

b) 2.5 joules in any other case.”

To my understanding, many sites will allow a DMR/semi-material rifle @ 2.5j (sometimes 2.4j to be safe) on the criteria that an ETU delays the follow-up shot or trigger pull by more than 2 seconds.
