I bought this new at the end of last year, and then days later found and bought a new Tokyo Marui MP5 NGRS - the only one in the country, which is what I hade been after for some time. Subsequently this has only been used in the garden for around 400bbs.

I have wired it for a deans connector.

Like all bolt MP5s it has a tight mag fitment, so to make mag fitment easier I lightly filed the inside of the mag well (see picture). You cant see this unless you turn the gun upside down without the mag in. It makes changing magazines a lot easier. However when I first tried putting the mag in and out, the top plastic lip of the 200rnd mag broke off(see picture). It can still be used, as bbs will not fall out as it is. I tried super glue, but epoxy would likely bond it so the lip would not come off again.

I tried some Cyma 120 mid cap magazine that I got from www.Superfives.com at £12 each (still in stock). With some very light filing at the top of the magazine they fit perfectly, and fed to the last bb - good quality metal mags. However another MP5 owner made me an offer on them I could not refuse.

It fires at 0.85joules on .25s with hop applied, which is over 300fps with.20s.
