Having a parts clear out and this is first up.
Real steel Russian SVD stock set.
The stock is a laminated Russian SVD stock finished in the iodine orange, this stock is most likely a take off from an in service SVD, as it has the receiver number of the rifle it was paired with inscribed on the side, and two arsenal markings on the top (see pictures), it also has the leather cheek riser and also a bakelite end cap both in very good condition.
The overall condition of the stock show sings of use which adds character, and saves the buyer from having to weather it themselves which can always be hit and miss.
The two forend piece are also of the laminated type in the iodine orange finish, they do show wear on the steel fittings but wood shows very little signs of use.
The colour match for this set is extremely close and quite impressive consider they are take off from two different rifles but beware is not 100%.
Important note: This stock set will fit GBB and spring powered SVD with minor modifications however this will not fit an AEG svd with out serious modification, and is not recommend for someone who is not confident in diy.
