Description
Semi only, fully mechanical (no batteries), perfect for DMR builds.
The trigger pull is two stage and quite heavy, comparable to a real AR trigger in feel. I bought it new from HighPressureAirsoft, fewer than 2000 bbs put through it and its probably been fielded fewer than eight times, three of which were outdoors. If you're a milsim type player, this is a great gun for all scenarios, CQB, mid-range and DMR/long-range applications.
Repro furniture: - HAO 10.5" MK16 rail with RS threading - £70
Other things: - Bucking + nub replaced with Maple Leaf 50 degree MR + omega nub, had these spare so no cost taken into account.
- Outer barrel was machined down by LCs Engineering Outpost to match the length of the handguard. It is 14CCW.
- Small piece of electrical tape added by the front takedown pin, as there was a little wobble I didn't like between upper and lower. - Original box and handguard are not included.
- No magazines or HPA related accessories are included, e.g. tank, line, reg.
- No muzzle device is included.
Issues: - A little picky with mags. Might need some shimming to feed with non-PTS mags.
- If you go too low in pressure (sub 80 PSI, 1 Joule and under), the trigger may struggle to reset. Not a problem in the UK where 1.14 joules is the limit though.
- I had double feed issues, likely due to bucking lip tension on the phoenix hop. Some attention is probably needed here to tune it with your mags of choice.
This gun goes for over £770 with the braided grip line, plus upgrade costs. I'm asking for £510 + postage. Will consider trades for gen 2 MTW Billet or MTW Forged+cash. Pick-up possible from London as well.
