I have a Magpul PTS scout ERG bought second hand last year and never skirmished (I have too many guns).
Works fine with hard kick from recoil. The front sight needs a couple of screws/pins, the previous owner removed them. 
swapping wise i would consider a tippman or a masada in foliage green
