anyone know if ak mags will fit into 556 kydex pouches?

I just tried a Cyma Bulgarian mag and it fits in the pouch but I needed to do it bottom end first as the rear latch toward the top of the mag gets in the way.

Technically they fit, but you'll find that pulling out and reindexing magazines will get annoying QUICK.

AK magazines, regardless of the shape, have two latches on the top that get in the way of each other and if you are dead set on using 5.56 kydex, you will have to insert mags in a specific order and take them out in reverse.

I suggest using dedicated AK kydex because they have dividers made specifically to prevent said latches from snagging on each other.

The problem is, options are very limited, if running a mk5/d3crm/A1 hub Hugo Industries make this https://hugoindustries.com/products/snag-free-ak-magazine-insert

Other manufacturers (L4 Performance for example) make similar inserts but they're not compatible with the aforementioned rigs/placards.

Personally I gave up on trying to find a decently priced insert for my A1 hub, should I want to run the AK I'll just use my battle belt (Templars Gear taco style mag pouches)

Bit of a weird one but does anyone in the Huddersfield/Halifax area want to help drive myself and my brother to Anzio camp tomorrow? We'll pay for the ticket and put towards fuel?

Pesky new work filter now blocks AFUK.

Handily I also use my own tablet for notes and they can’t block that ?

Time to get a vpn unless they block that too

Sorry to hear that my man. I was lucky enough to go to S&Graf in person for my set. Hope you can do the same.

i should consider spending less on kit and more on a new phone lol

Please don’t be offended on any offer I make on things, I offer what I feel they are worth to me, but I of course understand if my offer isn’t accepted. But be polite about it :)

currently looking for any shotguns that people may want to get rid of :)

It may be worth asking in the Guns Wanted section of Classifieds

I have before my man, thought I’ll add here aswell to catch other/more people’s attention ?

Just finished putting back together my Classic Army/ASG M4 that exploded on the big PB Delta Day, turns out the stock CYMA gears and the extremely cheap DE piston I threw in there that was part of my parts box didn't like a Solink 28k brushless! Caused some extremely nasty PME and exploded both the spur and the piston - threw in some SHS 13:1s and a random CYMA piston I had laying around and it was shooting at 0.127J, only to realise I didn't hook the fucking tappet-spring back on! Sorted now, and it's shooting lovely at 1.107J on a 0.28g. Bosh

Yep, cheap sintered gears do not like brushless motors.  At least, that is what my ISSC Mk22 told me.

Do you ever look at your collections and think... damn i wish i had of picked a cheaper hobby...  class A drugs, super yachts or manned space flight - something cheap, you know...

No, but I do often look at my collection and think that I only really need about 10 of them. The other 35 or so I don't think I'll ever really use...

As some one who had to make a nursery out of a dressing room, a dressing room out of a box room, and secure bit of the box room in the corner of the garage, I have way too many guns.

That's it. I'm not going to do anything about it. I just have too many.

Anyone using a MAD lever on their gbbr? Any cons as it all looks like pros to me.

GBBR's need to be RS spec - So, WE, VFC or VT - otherwise it probably won't fit.

You mean a B.A.D lever?

If so, yes I use them on ALL my M4 and 416 GBBr. I found a small amount of sanding to the back plate of the BAD Lever allowed for the right amount of movement to ensure good consistant operation and lockback.

Does anyone know of any replicas or clones of the Blackhawk Chest Magazine Pouches chest rig? Can’t seem to find anything other than a few on websites I’ve never heard of before.

Quick straw poll.

I grabbed a NOS ICS Sig 551 with the M.R.S Rail new from a shop closing for good. It has a broken front rail pin that I need to have modelled up and printed in stainless steel in China (It's very unique). It is also firing at 420FPS...

Do you think it would be more desirable on the market if I semi locked it for DMR levels or replace the spring and keep full auto? It's slightly easier to semi lock it, but not by much...

I'd say replace the spring. I think some purists would see real steel as an assault rifle and not a DMR.

Just finished up my Tokyo marui mk18 mod 1 build/ CQBR block 2 inspired.
