Hi all,

Recently picked up this and looking to change the stock rubber and barrel as they are filthy + the rubber is damaged.

Any recommendations on inner barrels + lengths

And rubbers to go with.

Also if the nub should be upgraded?

Links would be helpful, thanks all.

  • davidf changed the title to VFC A+ N4 (damaged rubber and filthy barrel)

I've got a 50° flamingo rubber in mine, and i 3d printed a flat hop nub. The harder nubs appear to work well in these / mws for range. I was dialling mine in the other day but didn't have a lot of range and it still looked good (I'm running 0.32) i can try and run off a couple of the nubs if you want to try one.

Can't comment on barrels I'm afraid as I'm not fussed about changing mine 😊

Thanks mate. What sort of range do you get of the 50°?

I too am running .32s on green.

@Justjay1986 also. Why not go for thr 60°?

Also @Justjay1986 would you recommend this nub 50?

Because the 50 degree is for sub 1.49J, as UK is hard limit of 1.3J, there is no need for anything more.

It's like RATech putting 70-80 degree as their default, because in taiwan, 2J is perfectly acceptable for a GBB.

No worries mate. As said, 50° works better for sub certain velocitys and I've always used 50s and found them to be great. That nub should do the trick I'd imagine, they're pretty good usually!

Range wise, I'm not on a site until Thursday but from plinking in a mates garden recently (he has a longer garden than me lol) it certainly looked good at testing. Will let you know after Thursday though
