I bought a 2nd hand TM MTR16 last week and it came with this home made HPA drum mag. I can't test it myself but I've been told it works fine (by the shop). It's a pull chord drum mag with an MWS short mag merged with it.

Any idea how much its worth?

  • Daveoc33 changed the title to Home made HPA MWS drum mag

Doesn’t look brilliantly executed, and as you can’t test it, essentially it’s boneyard.

Probably £50 unless you prove it feeds well and is leak free, sorry

Cheers for having a look! Yes it could have been done a bit neater, but it feels solid enough. I'd be pleased with £50 (it's more than I thought).

If I can test it and it does work, how much would it be worth then, do you think? I can check it feeds without an hpa rig by just putting the mag in and cocking the rifle.

Looking at the cost of parts new it's £50 for the mag, £50 for the drum, £20 for the hose. So based on that £80 working maybe?

You need to check it feeds correctly firing singly and on auto, not just one bb.

I’m willing to bet it both leaks air and doesn’t feed correctly, they are a real fit to get right
