Hi there,

I have a KWA Umarex Mk23 and have recently acquired a TM LAM unit for it with the intention of modifying it.

The help I need is any video or photo of the REAL Lam units left side, I want to accurately recreate the look of the removable infrared lens attached on the left side of the unit, instead of it all being matt black.
I have attempted to recreate it based on what I imagine it looks like but am not happy with the result, its too reflective and the thin clear film I used is slightly warped which ruins the look so before I try again with a matt film it would be nice to see the real thing!

I am currently waiting for a 635nm red laser and a Cree warm white 3000k LED to arrive but here are my modifications so far:

Current Infrared lens attempt.

Replaced the front flat lens for a domed lens, some material had to be removed from the inside of the lens cap for it to fit along with an O-ring to minimize 'light leak' between the housing and lens cover.

Added a rotary switch which will switch from red laser to violet laser, adding a real Infrared laser is not worth the eye risk imo. I'm on the hunt for a more beveled knob but for now this will do

Some work to the battery housing and cap allowed fitment of an 18500 IMR battery

The central brass and chrome cylinders are weights that sit on an aluminum heatsink which the LED is attached to with thermal paste.

The switching mechanism. Pushing left activates the light, Pushing right will toggle the lasers, this was achieved with a small magnet on the left which stops the lever being pushed too far and also latches onto a steel pin.

I hope someone can help, from what I've seen there only appears to be one video on Youtube with 'Forgotten Weapons' but you only see the left side for a brief moment (9mins11sec) and it appears to be missing the lens!
This is the one image I was able to find online:

As you can see its pretty hard to tell..
