Recently changed the trigger blade on my TM 5.1.

 

Straightforward job normally.

 

However, with the slide fitted, the hammer refused to release when the trigger was pulled.

 

Normally the culprit would be the sear leaf spring.

 

However  with the slide removed the trigger and hammer work perfectly.

 

If I cock  the hammer with my finger it falls when I  pull the trigger. Even when the slide is put back on but not racked.

 

But when I rack the slide to cock the hammer, the trigger will no longer release it.

 

I was hoping not to have to disassemble the hammer unit, but I can only think the problem is to do with the disconnector.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
