Cyma VSS & AY VSS Compatibility

Does anyone know if the Cyma VSS mags fit with the AY VSS?

yes they do, I brought a Cyma vss and got some AY mags from ebay and they work fine

 

I think I read somewhere that the cyma vss is a rebranded AY but I could be wrong

I think i read this aswell but saw elsewhere that someone was saying that The Cyma mags were proprietary and it threw me off a bit.

Just finding out because I'm stuck between either trying to get a AY AS Val and getting myself a cyma gearbox. Waiting for CYMA to release a Val themselves or just getting a Cyma VSS

The gearbox is a standard v3 apart from it has a low nozzle like an m14

 

As soon as I got mine I gutted it, fitted a titan and other bits and made it into a dmr. Now it overhops .40s with no hop on 😂
