Ace Airsoft War Games
+++ COVID-19 Update +++ Further to the Government’s update and its recommendations on social distancing, we wanted to update you with what we are doing at Ace Airsoft following the announcement. We are lucky in some respects that our game site is outdoors, in the fresh air in a large 100 acre woodland! We are currently still open for the published dates on our website and have every intention to remain so for as long as possible however the health and well being of our players and staff is our priority, and as such we are making some changes to help ensure our players remain safe during their visit with us. We want to stay open to provide our members and guests with a happy and fun airsoft experience, but we’re monitoring the situation closely so we can respond quickly to any further changes and guidance from the authorities. It’s important that if you do feel unwell or are in self-isolation following a member of your household showing symptoms of corona virus, we ask you to postpone your visit until you are fully recovered. As a large outdoor game site, we’re developing plans to maintain space and social distance for players, in addition to the availability of soap, water and hand sanitisation products. We ask all those who visit us to observe closely our guidelines below on maintaining a safe distance between each other and to upkeep good hygiene practices. There are simple things you can do to help prevent the spread of the virus, including: 1) Social distancing - Our safe zone area is large and has ample space so please try to maintain a safe distance (approx. 2 meters) between other people, we are encouraging players for the time being to make use of their cars in the car park if possible during non gaming periods. 2) Proximity - Where close proximity between players and staff is necessary, for example during the safety briefing, we will keep this to a minimum and operate in line with the latest guidance. This might mean that we give you a printed safety briefing along with a verbal safety briefing and therefore Booking in online via our website is important to reduce proximity times on arrival. We also ask to avoid cash transactions if possible and therefore there is now the option to pay in full on the booking pages of our website and to order and pay for your Ammo and Pyrotechnic Grenades in advance in order to collect on the day. 3) Frequent hand washing - All marshals will wash hands at least every two hours and we ask you try to do the same. We have a wash station and alcohol gel available to enable you to wash your hands regularly. 4) Covering your mouth and nose - with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze and putting any used tissues in the bin immediately 5) Avoiding touching your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean. 6) If you do feel unwell during your visit, please contact a member of staff immediately – maintaining a safe distance of two meters where possible. The safety of our staff and players are our top priority and we are continuing to closely follow the advice of Public Health England and the UK Government in order to enhance our provisions for this. We are doing our bit to avoid disappointment for our players, whilst ensuring that you remain safe during your visit; please help us with this by doing your bit too. Thanks for your support and understanding during these unusual times; play hard, take your hits and HAVE FUN!
