Zarrin
Hiya, My brother recently bought his first AEG... its a CA Nemesis with a PDW style stock. The battery space is extremely limited; he has a couple of 1000mah 11.1v sticks from component shop but he would like to have a little more space. CA do their own extension sector but only seems available in the US, and even then no one has had it in stock for a couple of months now! https://www.airsoftgi.com/product/Classic-Army-Nemesis-Series-PDW-Stock-41mm-Extension-Tube-33609/ Now there are a few solutions... obviously a battery bag, which he really doesn't like the idea of. He was thinking about possibly getting an extended tube 3D printed - he does have access to that tech, however i feel that kind of route will need quite a few takes before getting it right - may not be worth the time and effort. As far as other available products are concerned, there is the ARES extension buffer tube for the amoeba range: Anyone know if the threads on this will fit the Classic Army Scarab/Nemesis? https://extremeairsoft.co.uk/shop/accessories/misc-accesories/ares-buffer-tube-for-amoeba-am-016-extendable-stock-long-180mm-am-bt-002/ Now unfortunately a standard M4 buffer tube wont work, however some manufacturers produce buffer tubes where the fore ring is threaded and actually screws off the tube: Does anyone know if these threads would allow the buffer tube to be attached directly to the CA Nemesis receiver (therefore allowing something like a crane stock to be attached for a better battery solution)? https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/patrol-base-metal-buffer-tube Any help, advice or experience in such a matter is much appreciated!
